#Option to cancel boarding

Are you sure it was an accident?
Initiating boarding is a deliberate action, not an automated trigger
I think there should be a way. The only question is, how? Because if you decide to board someone and start losing, you should not have the option to cancel.
But this accidently boarding happens alot when people want to loot fast after imperial flagships lol. It is by default the same button as it is to loot.
on top of cancel option, boarding should be its own key mapped action independent of anything else.
He wanted to board guy that was there and he died
Ask both players or both press cancel button
^i think this is reasonable
Add a “cancel board” button for both players. If both press it, the boarding action ceases.
Devs should add another key binding for boarding. "Space" for everything is a trash.
Perhaps there are a couple things that could be applied or considered
First, boarding an ally or guildmate could be disabled. After all if they are allied to you or guildmate, should be no reason for a hostile action such as boarding.
Second possibilty is allowing Disengagement comes with some kind of penalty. I think one already would be loss of crew killed in the attempted action. Some hull damage could be uncured from the act of 'cutting' the lines used to initiate the action.
Third would be consider making the option to cancel a boarding action a PvE thing.
Or if you cancel a boarding action, the enemy ship gets cooldown on it's guns removed if it was on cooldown. Break away and get blown away, risk vs reward.
"Oh you wanted to go into the lighthouse? too bad there's a mission NPS there lol." Agreed. More keybind options would be hugely helpful.
Or the inverse and much more infuriating situation. The NPS mission Aground is in the lighthouse and won't let you interact with it for the free stuff.
crazy right? 100 keys on my keyboard but I have to map 1 to do 5 different things
Too many good ideas, things that shouldn't have happened have already happened
