Yes. I had a thorough write-up with a brief history of the ship and description of its characteristics, but the automod bot deleted it for nonexistent profanity so I'm hoping it can be restored as I neglected to write my draft in a notepad before posting

Ahh, yeah the first american ship of the line. It would be cool if there were more than 3 american ships (ss savannah, uss essex, uss constitution)

Honestly at this point I think the bot needs to have the profanity filter outright disabled. It's a constant nuisance whenever one attempts to write anything of length. It wouldn't be so bad if it at least told the user which part of the message was flagged so that you could work around it, but it just immediately deletes the entire post with no information. I've had many times wherein I've had to rewrite an entire post sentence by sentence just to find out which completely un-profane word was tripping the bot.

Hey @bronze timber if you happen to be free for a moment, would you please check logs and let me know what the bot flagged in my original post here from about 10 hrs ago? I’d like to remake it but want to know what word(s) tripped the filter so that it doesn’t get nuked again 🙃

Hey! So I made this thread the other day but the bot immediately deleted it for nonexistent profanity. I was wondering if you could tell me what word(s) tripped the overzealous filter so that I could remake the thread and avoid that problem

I also don't have a saved copy of the draft, so it would be really helpful to have the original text sent here for reference if at all possible

The bot detected a "bad word", yes. I'll try to find the draft for you and check. I'll be back in 5 minutes.

Also, i've recently made some changes to Dyno's "Bad Words" filter, as it was filtering too many bad word wildcards.

Yeah, it was happening for some time now. And it's doing more harm than good. I just hope that I don't have to revert it back, considering that some people may take advantage of it.

Btw, I apologize for this - but I couldn't find your message anymore. Now that the bot's a bit lenient when it comes to bad word wildcards, if you could post again and let me know immediately if it trips, that would be great.

Hope you understand. We'll do our best to sort out balancing the bot's filters for everyone's enjoyment.

Darn... is there no logging function for the bot? If so the message should be timestamped for about 18:20 Central Time yesterday
