Being accused of using chatgpt for a school assignment

Hey guys,

so i turned in this assignment/essay for a class and now the teacher is accusing me of using chatgpt for the assingment because the ai detector shows a high level of ai content. But I didn't. What should i do??

AI detectors are flawed. However, saying "I didn't use AI, AI detectors are flawed" is unlikely to solve the problem.

What you can try is having the teacher interview you about the topic covered in the essay, or having the teacher have you write a short essay in person.

That way, you can actually prove that you know the topic.
