Yes, so the public health economy can be described. The public health economy is a conceptual idea but is basically reality. It explains what keep health equity stuck. In Washington, DC we also have a unique issue because we are not a state and have a very small legislature and strong mayor system. Our mayor is racist basically.
Gentrification is also impacting health equity and driving poverty concentration, which is a condition for gun violence and community destabilization.
Our government is very poor at health program implementation. Public corruption is high. All factors that impact the health of the public health economy.
