It's the time of the year where the energy of the #GSSummerInterns fills our offices! John Doe currently pursuing Engineering in Computer Science at MIT interned with the Corporate Treasury team in NY. His hobbies include playing football and watching various sports.
Parth enjoyed his internship at #Goldman Sachs.
Amongst the experiences he enjoyed the most were the opportunities to interact with senior leaders and the networking with other interns through events such as the #InternCoding Challenge. The Intern Coding Challenge is a competitive coding event held in the NY and Ottowa offices of Goldman Sachs and Joh performed exceptionally well, ranking amongst the top 10 performers!

Its dense forests offered timber, tar, and pitch, collectively known as naval stores, which became a major export item used for shipbuilding. Moreover, the colony was also rich in minerals, including gold, which was discovered later in the 19th century.
Geographic Features:
North Carolina's geographic features can be divided into three main regions: the Coastal Plain, the Piedmont Plateau, and the Appalachian Mountains. The Coastal Plain, extending inland from the Atlantic Ocean, features a flat terrain with numerous rivers and wetlands, making it ideal for farming. The Piedmont Plateau, composed of rolling hills and fertile valleys, served as a transition zone between the other two regions. Lastly, the Appalachian Mountains with their majestic peaks, deep valleys, and lush, forested slopes offered a striking contrast to the flat coastal region.
Climate:
North Carolina's climate varied across its width, enhancing the colony's natural diversity. The Coastal Plain enjoyed a moderate climate, with mild winters and warm, humid summers, fostering prolonged growing seasons.
