It's been a major issue under discussion in the context of the Writers Guild of America strike. This possibly isn't the best audience to see GPT personally coming for their jobs, since people embracing and using the newest tools are going to be the ones that stick around. Job loss will probably come from attrition and from lack of hiring, e.g. recent layoffs in the tech sector simply aren't replaced since the productivity of AI-empowered staff increases and they were overstuffed in the first place.
The more robotic your job is, the more likely it is to be replaced by AI.
