GIBBS
They need our help in defeating a powerful sea monster that has been terrorizing their home.
JACK SPARROW

GIBBS
(uncertain)

EXT. MERMAID COVE - DAY

EXT. MERMAID COVE - DAY (CONT'D)

The crew starts digging, and after a few minutes, they uncover a chest. Jack opens it to reveal a pile of gold coins, jewels, and other treasures.
JACK SPARROW
(laughing)
Now this is what I call a successful trade.
ARIEL
(looking around)
But what about us? We still need the Mermaid's Tear.
JACK SPARROW
(nodding)
Of course, my dear. But don't worry, I have a plan.
Jack takes out a bottle of rum and pours it into the sea.
JACK SPARROW
(to the crew)
Quickly, gather as many empty bottles as you can find.
The crew does as they're told, and Jack fills the bottles with seawater.

(explaining)
We're going to use these as decoys. The mermaids will think we have the Tear and come to investigate. And while they're distracted, we'll sneak in and take it.
The crew nods in agreement, and they set off towards Mermaid Cove.
EXT. MERMAID COVE - DAY
The crew sails towards Mermaid Cove, with Jack and Ariel leading the way. They spot a group of mermaids swimming towards them.
JACK SPARROW
(whispering)
Now's our chance. Everyone, get ready.
As the mermaids approach, the crew throws the bottles into the sea. The mermaids are immediately intrigued and start investigating.
Meanwhile, Jack and Ariel sneak into Mermaid Cove and locate the Mermaid's Tear.
ARIEL
(holding the Tear)
We did it! Now we can save our kingdom.
JACK SPARROW
(smiling)
Yes, we did. And I must say, it was a pleasure doing business with you, my dear.
ARIEL
(smirking)
Likewise, Captain Sparrow. Maybe we'll cross paths again someday.
JACK SPARROW
(raising his hat)
Until then, farewell.
The crew and Ariel return to their respective ships and sail off in different directions.

EXT. PORT ROYAL - DAY
The Black Pearl sails into Port Royal, with Jack and the crew celebrating their successful adventure.
JACK SPARROW
(to the crew)
Well done, mates! We've saved a kingdom and gained some treasure along the way.
The crew cheers and raises their glasses, drinking to their victory.
Suddenly, a group of Royal Navy soldiers appears on the dock, led by CAPTAIN HENDERSON.

(frowning)
Captain Sparrow, you're under arrest for piracy and treason against the crown.
JACK SPARROW
(smiling)
Ah, Captain Henderson. Always a pleasure to see you.
CAPTAIN HENDERSON
(angrily)
Save your charm, Sparrow. You're coming with us.
JACK SPARROW
(still smiling)
I'm afraid I can't do that, mate. You see, I have a prior engagement.
Jack takes out the Mermaid's Tear and shows it to Henderson.
JACK SPARROW
(grinning)
And as you can see, I have the Mermaid's Tear. Which means I have some leverage.
Henderson looks at the Tear in amazement, realizing its value.
CAPTAIN HENDERSON
(surprised)
I see. Well, perhaps we can come to a...mutual agreement.
JACK SPARROW
(nodding)
I thought you'd see it my way.
The crew laughs as Henderson and his soldiers leave, defeated.
JACK SPARROW
(to the crew)
Well, that was a close one. But as they say, all's well that ends well.
The crew cheers and raises their glasses again, toasting to their victory.

Suddenly, a mysterious figure appears on deck, shrouded in a cloak.
MYSTERIOUS FIGURE
(speaking in a low, ominous voice)
Greetings, Captain Sparrow. I have been waiting for you.
JACK SPARROW
(carefully)
And who might you be?
MYSTERIOUS FIGURE
(smiling)
You may call me Davy Jones.
Jack's face falls as he recognizes the name.
JACK SPARROW
(uneasily)
Davy Jones? But I thought you were dead...
DAVY JONES
(smiling sinisterly)
As you can see, Captain, I am very much alive. And I have a proposition for you.
JACK SPARROW
(skeptically)
And what might that be?
DAVY JONES
(offering a deal)
Join me, Captain Sparrow, and together we can rule the Seven Seas. You shall have power and riches beyond your wildest dreams.
JACK SPARROW
(thoughtfully)
And what would I have to do in return?
DAVY JONES
(smiling darkly)
Only one thing, Captain. Bring me the Trident of Poseidon.
JACK SPARROW
(surprised)
The Trident? But that's just a myth!
DAVY JONES
(smiling)
Is it, now? I have reason to believe otherwise. And if you bring it to me, Captain Sparrow, we shall be unstoppable.
Jack looks around at his crew, uncertain of what to do.
JACK SPARROW
(after a pause)

DAVY JONES
(nodding)
Take your time, Captain. But remember, time is of the essence.
With that, Davy Jones disappears into thin air, leaving Jack and his crew in a state of shock.
