If it isn't letting you submit any more prompts to it, the only option you have is to do a full account export, find those messages in it, and paste it in as new messages into anoher chat.

If you can still prompt it, ask it to give you a context dump.

Or, I suppose, rather than getting the export, just scroll up and cut & paste.

I can also give you a quick command to enter into the DOMS console in Chrome to download a session's entire context into a txt file.

hi there., I've got the plus account and I was using projects to upload multiple stories in a series I'm writing. Then all of a sudden today I can't upload to my projects anymore. According to chatgpt: Until late June 2025, Plus users could still upload documents into Project Files as part of a wider experimental rollout. But as of the most recent update (likely June 27–28), OpenAI has removed the Project Files feature for Plus users and restricted it to Team and Enterprise plans only.

You may still see previously uploaded files in existing projects, but you can no longer upload new files or create new projects if you're on the Plus plan.

I was ok to pay USD20 a month but 200 a month is a bit steep for me. Does anyone else know why this happened? thanks

Hi, I've been struggling for about two weeks now with exporting segments from an audio file. using chatgpt and other AI tools, I generated a Python script that uses OpenAI Whisper to transcribe the audio, and the transcription works well including accurate timestamps. However, when I import those timestamps into another script to extract the corresponding audio segments, the results hasn't been accurate. The segments often start at the wrong point or get cut off abruptly, missing parts of the intended content or sometimes there's a "spillage" of words from other timestamps into the timestamp of the audio file extracted.

At this point, I’m wondering: is there any AI-powered software (like Descript) that can handle this kind of task? I’ve looked into Descript, but as far as I know, it doesn’t support batch exporting of multiple segments automatically (as far as I know, although I could be wrong). I also tried using Audacity to export the segments manually, but that process was extremely tedious (and gave me an actual neck ache). I’d really appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks!

Some feedback to the ChatGPT imaging team.

I am using OpenAI's GPT 4o, with GPT Image 1.

The experience has been extremely frustrating. I wanted to generate 30 images for my novel. It took me six days working eight hours a day. It never told me about any of its limitations, so I had to figure this out by trial and error.

GPT Image 1 cannot remember the png file it generated ten minutes ago, let alone the one it just generated, so I was forced to upload the last image every time to show it what mistake it made. Even with doing that, it would often fail to reproduce the image I just uploaded accurately. Not only does it not have a memory, but it does not scan the uploaded image accurately.

Next, it fails to do the most simple updates. If I ask it to make the image it generated less yellow (I had to take the image back to gimp), it can’t do that. If I ask it to move the ball that is in the center of the image to the right, it can’t do that (I had to have it make a transparent png and then I took the image back to gimp and added as a layer). If I ask it to make the swimming pool in the backyard larger, it can’t do that. If I tell it to make the image of the guy it generated more thin, it can’t do that.

Next, it can’t keep details it generates constant. If I describe the image (and upload it) and ask for it to change one feature in the image, it often changes other features rather than holding them constant. I would have to tell it what aspect ratio and what resolution on every request, every time, otherwise it would forget and change the image properties randomly.

This was a very frustrating experience. Since I cannot use gimp to make three-dimensional visuals, it was my only alternative. I paid $20 a month and it significantly raised my blood pressure. As it stroked the pixels, I nearly stroked out. It was like talking to an eight-year-old whose mother took psychedelics during her pregnancy. Did anyone test it with users?

This has rules for storing and organizing memory, safeguards to catch problems I'd found, a little thing to diagnose and fix issues automatically using industry standards and best practices, and changes to how it describes narratives-

Then, I added stuff for npc behavior, world generation and some bonuses to narrative structure like making chat gpt able to swear and use slang when out of character for fun

Then it was supposed to go like

To hammer this point home, and I know you already understand this but just to be completely clear, the "core" you developed does not exist. All that exists is the conversation about it, and whatever details it has stored in the limited memory (that you can check in settings). When you ask it to do something with the core, it reads back over the conversation, goes "oh yeah" and continues from what you've already said in your roleplay about developing a core.

The issue is memory, in that the AI model has none.
Everything it knows about your campaign, in any given moment, is only what exists in the current context window.
In ChatGPT, that context window is effectively the entire session's chat, but when that grows long enough, it can and will lose track of the details.
Some people have tried using the Canvas to store specific details and stats, and that does work to some degree, but you still need to transfer that data to new sessions (Or design some sort of CustomGPT to do it, if that's possible).

So while it is possible to design a tool, other than ChatGPT, which uses the same model backend, the context engineering part is the challenge. That is, providing each context window with all of the information it needs decide the next move.

Hi! I'm having an issue where every time I refresh a message, it basically keeps the old one and resends mine, so the conversations are just my one message over and over with various responses. I've tried relaunching the app, deleting and redownloading, using a different model, starting a new chat, clearing the memory, going back and editing a previous message and it's still happening. If I edit the message it basically just creates another copy but the edited version.

I’m having terrible performance on my computer, which seems relatively new. I was doing a project 2-3 weeks ago before I went on holiday and it was fine. Started a new project two days ago when I got back, and I’m having to prompt from my phone and then refresh my desktop in order to be able to copy and paste code snippets, if I prompt from my desktop it just freezes for 5 minutes, slowing things a lot.

It's not about what you deem as right or wrong or how your view on the things are, but rather it's about what you can not take into account as you lack the factual knowledge and understanding a licensed therapist has.

This is normal. Try to remind him of that in your prompts, tell him to take the past chat into account. Should work most of the times.

That is highly dependend on the prompt and versatile. I do not think you take every possible response into account, therefore ChatGPT does not have the full picture of answers ready.
It doesn't think about the situation.
It gives responses based of percentages in which a word should occur, in a manner that makes sense.
So every little detail in the prompt changes a lot.

I’ve created a tool for QC using Custom GPT, and I want to upload a PowerPoint file so that the model can review and provide comments if any slide title, chart title, or axis title has an incorrect font size.
I’ve also uploaded a guidance document that specifies the correct font sizes for reference.

There might be a tool that will instantly format all your axis/title/etc fields into a uniform font for each, but it's probably faster to just go through it manually

Bros I'm having an issue, 3 days ago when using voice chatgpt had problems responding. This is a first time issue. I have a galaxy a15 android 15. Reached out to support and told them my app version and email. I'm a plus member. So all previous chats when I try to talk it says "sorry having issues cannot understand what you said." it'll understand if I start a new chat but only for a moment. I'm trying to edit an uploaded image using the OpenAI API, but the results aren't very good.
For example, when uploading an image of a whole house, I only want to change the fence area, leaving the rest intact.
So, I used the /v1/images/edits endpoint, but OpenAI doesn't recognize the fence area properly.

What I want is to update only certain parts of the image, leaving the rest untouched.

Usually, when I upload an image and display the image editing prompt on chatgpt.com or google.gemini.com, the results are good.
