When going into chatgpt, does anyone else get the "Unable to load site" screen? When I go to Open.ai it says I'm blocked.
I am not using a VPN.
I was making chatgpt write a story for me that did get a couple of warning but I didn't think anything of it.
It was not sexual, nor racist and I wasn't making it say anything horrible that deserved a ban the story was just a little brutal with the fight scenes.
Does this mean I'm banned from chatgpt? Is that even possible? Does anyone know how long this will last?

I was testing Chatgpt 3.5 with some math problems and it turns out it cant solve some problems with absolute value expresssions (aka |-5| = 5 , |5| = 5).

I took some photos in chatgpt app and sent to it directly, but later I clicked regenerate of the first answer, and maybe the network was bad, the model suddenly changed into gpt-3.5, so I clicked stop generating. At that moment I could still see the photos and answers below, but when I come back later, all those below are missing, the model was back to gpt-4 and the only thing left is the first picture and <2/2> of chatgpt.

The responses I used to get in the 3.5 free model where much faster, I keep getting network errors, and very slow streaming responses, minutes at times, tried brave browser, firefox nothing changed.

So, I have a question. is anyone else experiencing this problem? about a few days ago my GPTs started doing the "Searching my knowledge" thing, even when I don't reference the knowledge. It always does that.

At the same time this started, it also started repeating messages. After a while chatting with any GPT, it starts taking my previous prompt, and adding my current one. I end up with a situation where it will repeat the previous answer it gave, and add an answer for the new prompt.

To exemplify this, imagine a storytelling situation. You say "The protagonist grabs a glass of water". The GPT complies with a description of that. You then say "The protagonist makes a sandwich". The GPT will then repeat the protagonist grabbing water as if it never happened, and then make them make a sandwich. If you write a new prompt after that, it will simply repeat everything selectively and so on.

I haven't made any changes to my GPTs, and I noticed that this started with the "Searching my knowledge" every message thing. It does the same with ANY GPT, mine or not.

Is anyone experiencing that? Does someone have a solution or a probable cause? Is there a bug going on with the servers? Feedback would be appreciated.

I'm trying to use chatgpt to help me with programming, but it keeps forgetting the code after 3-4 responses and/or changing it entirely... or it forgets information or details. God, I hope someone can help me here. I'm just running into a wall and official support can't be bothered to answer, it seems.

Whenever I start a new conversation, it works fine the first two or three prompts and answers, but after that nothing works - as soon as I refresh the page, the last answer(s) will be gone and all of the prompts I've sent up to that point will be crammed together into my first message.

Also, the GPTs will start repeating their answer from the previous prompt - and then everything vanishes as soon as I refresh the page. This happens on the standard GPT4 model as well as all of the custom ones I've tried.

I've archived all my other chats, no change. Deleted them, no change. I have tried Firefox, Opera and Safari so far, all without any extensions and in incognito mode. I have tried on my computer and on my phone. Nothing seems to work.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

That’s a difficult one… your best bet is to continue trying getting OpenAI support looking at this.

We are running into an issue where we get this error “This model's maximum context length is 4097 tokens, however you requested 4171 tokens (1097 in your prompt; 3074 for the completion). Please reduce your prompt; or completion length.”

When we reduced the max the error went away. That seems counterintuitive to me. I would think keeping that max tokens at 4,097 would be the best setting to limit the number of errors and reduce the likelihood the response exceeds the maximum.

chats don't know anything about each other, if you've made a conversation so big that it has run out of memory there's not a whole lot you can do - except maybe extract the whole conversation and use an llm with a very large context window to summarize it all? even then it's a maybe.

I want to make a GPT that has info of the latest documentation of a programming library I'm using that just had a major revision but I'm not sure how to do it properly.
I've got the docs organised into json/md files - if I load these files into it's knowledgebase it doesn't seem to use them effectively, and I'm not sure how to tell it to.
I'm currently trying something where I've created an api to request information from the docs as json format and have set it up as an action in my GPT, and it does seem to use it when it needs to but my problem now is that I would like to 'remove' it's knowledge about old documentation as it keeps leaking through, but I'm not sure that's possible.

So, I've found a bug with ChatGPT. Basically, after opening a shared conversation, I started a new chat and clicked on one of the sample prompts and it merged the two conversations into one.

I opened the website from my desktop and confirmed that it's been saved to the server.

On desktop open your browser's Settings page → Search for "cache", "clear data" or "delete data".

You should be able to see the option named "Clear Data..." or similar. Click on it, then make sure only "Cached Web Content" is selected. After that, click "Clear".

Using the “developer mode”, you can in theory see past interactions with websites by visualizing HTTP requests. Keep this browser open and don’t close it to guarantee you won’t lose that data.
If you are using Chrome, open something different like Firefox and search on YouTube what is “developer mode”. Don’t use Chrome again or you risk having Chrome putting that tab to “sleep” to minimize memory usage.

Once you learned where to look into to see the network traffic, check the Chrome tab you were using. But to be honest, I have no hopes you will get that data back.

The problem only occurs on my PC and my Mac but my iPhone seems to display it fine.

I've tried clearing the cache, nothing seems to be working.
