I know you get this question over and over again, and I understand it is annoying, but I really need help. Basically I discovered ChatGPT a month ago and after the 4th time of using it it told me that it is at capacity right now. I didnt worry because it happened once. Dont worry, Open AI FAQ says they might check conversations of users for improvement of the bot and for other reasons,

So, let's suppose the text got reported to the OpenAI team and even if it didn't they could still probably check it as I mentioned above, they would instead add that content you mentioned, as a violation therefore, all of us will not be able to generate related content {The content you were entering} from then.

They wouldnt issue a warning to you and if warning wouldn't be there, then being banned is out of question.

If you think the content is not a violation you can fill the form generated by OpenAI team, I believe you can access the form if you click on that orange text.

But I would recommend to not care if you will not have to generate the same content repeatedly.

One Tip I have:
Is that you can use the browser extension for ChatGPT
For example,
I use chrome so, I've gotten an extension called as "ChatGPT for Google", haven't used it that much as of now so, I don't know if this tip could potentially solve the error.

You can also ontact OpenAI at help.openai.com since you've bought the plus version you're at advantage,
There's also a form which you can access to put forward your problem you can see how to access it if you don't know how to access it, I currently don't know how to access it.

I understand the situation you're in because I also experienced the same problem, but what I did is:

1: I just simply waited for a bit and then it gets back to normal.

2: I'm on a phone currently, so I use the back option to get out of the website, and then get back in immediately.

Works for me.

Or you can try copying the text immediately after the error occurs, refresh and then get back to what you were doing.

Or send 1 text at a time and then tell the Chatbot you're not finished and then proceed with your final conclusion.

I don't recall if ChatGPT starts with GPT-3 or GPT 3.5, but the biggest different is that the GPT-X are models that are trained sequence to sequence. They receive a sequence of tokens as input (a token is typically a part of a word, but you could simplify and say that a token is a word) and outputs a sequence of tokens. The training dataset is basically a big chunk of the internet and is not proprietary.

The model memorizes what sequences usually go after other sequences. So the model is good at continuing paragraphs. This doesn't necessarily work as a chat bot. For example, if you start with a question, gpt might answer it, but it also might add other question...it all depends on the patterns it detects in the data.

To force the model to behave more like a chatbot, they do some extra training on the GPT. You can see the details on the image, but it basically involves collecting data on nice question-answer pairs (either written by humans or produces by the model) and then ranking them from great to bad. The model then learns what is a proper answer to a question (or, generally, a prompt). This last dataset is proprietary and is expensive to produce.

I provided the name of the currently used Chat to GPT, then asked for the name, after saying it could not provide this as it does not store it. I told the AI that I had previously provided this information and to then retry. It stated the name, then the name of the chat changed to 'AI does not store.'

Sure makes sense, you are required to store the data to answer the question but you can't actively keep the chat name maybe? However it has switched back to the original name yet GPT can still answer the question of the chatroom name. I'm just wondering if anyone would poke at it and see if you can recreate? I'm rather curious.

Hope I am putting this in the right place, but I appear to have stumbled into an issue with ChatGPT. I am a new user and just singed into OpenAI with my Google Account and went to go try ChatGPT, No matter what I put in, how I ask, or topic of subject, all my imputes are causing an Error. No explanation of the error is provided on any input. I was trying to get help through the OpenAi website, but the cat for assistance interface is just telling me to log-in... even though I am logged in? None of the subjects in the existing threads appear to have an answer either. I was just about to try a different browser when I decided I might be able to ask here first. Any thoughts as to what the issue might be?

I will note that I am aware of the bots limitations in responses and training limitations. So, aside from a few rookie mistakes I will pretend I did not make, I am only accounting for my last four attempts at giving the bot a prompt. To my knowledge, none of them should have caused any issues themselves. First thing I did before coming here was looking into the AIs limitations.

EDIT:~~ Something new just happened. Now if I try to get to the ChatGPT webside, I get an error from Microsoft Azure saying "403: Forbidden You don’t have permissions for this page. Please check your login info and permissions and try again."~~ FIXED

Hello! I feel like this problem is probably answered somewhere in the fine-tunes documentation but I haven't found it and I'm hoping I might stumble into an easy button.

My first model, I didn't catch the section of the docs about the

So I redid my training data and I included \n###\n at the end of every prompt and ### at the end of every response, like the documentation says
and now the model has improved! It only gives one answer! 🙂

I can log in with Firefox or Chrome almost immediately (sometimes a short delay if servers are busy), but Edge just seems to have a dead Login button. Yeah I just mess around making stories with it for personal use, just for fun roleplaying. Then I also use it for fleshing out the details in my pathfinder / D&D campaigns or provide dialogue in situations. My players will sometimes throw me curve balls, and with ChatGPT I can throw the scenario in there with a few sentences and have it give an entire conversation.

Of course, for some of my monsters I plan to do them very differently, in my opinion. But, it is hard to do that with all of them. For example, I am making my skeletons variable in level from very low to very high and have traits related to what they were before becoming skeletons. I believe if you change a monster enough it is different and even a basic monster in detail may not be lore, if it is too basic, but a monster like a Blink Dog, if used as it is in the Monster Manual, might be considered lore.

Hi ChatGPT Plus user! The current browser I'm using is Firefox, and I'm having issues with the "ChatGPT for Search Engines" extension. What is the closest but easiest thing that would be able to do stuff similar in effect to ChatGPT that could be run on PC or web browser environment that would not be expensive, better 100% free, and is very easy to setup and maintain? Hi guys, I decided to use playground since I keep reading it is way better for certain things.

I selected the Chat model since I am looking for the most similar experience to Chat GPT and at the same time improving it with the playground capabilities. Hoping someone can help me to understand better how to use the system/user role with GPT turbo properly. I see in the docs that turbo follows the instructions of the user role better than it does the system role. But for me, it seems to ignore both for the most part.

For example, I tried something like:

I want to know this as well. I tried to teach it it can access an API by using special commands, my code will parse, call an api and answer as system.
It doesnt work very well. It really likes to always respond to the user by taking on statements like "wait while I call the api xyz" or it just makes up api answers and pretends it already called the api.
I kinda got it to work, but my initial system prompt explaing this is like 65 lines and uses like 30% of the max of the token limit alone.

I'm aware how the api works. I'm not sure how I can make the assistant call my domain specific api though.
Let's assume I have an API called getItemsAt that takes a location as string and responds with an array of items.
I want the assistant to use that. Like when the user asks "Do you know how many items are at wall street?" the assistant should call this api with the parsed part "wall street". Then wait for the response of the api and parse that as well before formulating a response to the user like " I found 3 items there."

It's obviously less then ideal and the initial system prompt explaining to the bot how to use this api takes up over 1000 tokens alone.
I wonder if there is a more ideal way to make something like this. Like an official way to have the assistant call 3rd party apis.
Also the assistant always talks about "having to call the api now" and stuff like that. It rarely only uses the magic prompt the system needs to give him the api results.

When I try to use chatGPT on my laptop through either Microsoft Edge or Google chrome, it comes up with this error "An error occurred. If this issue persists please contact us through our help centre at help.openai.com." But if I use it through google on my phone it works fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
