Sure! It's simply that the 1 and 2 channels are already being used for what I am describing, and that's noisy for people who are less interested in code.

this is the same as a frame over the top of a wastebasket that ostensibly sorts your garbage but actually all lead to the same bag. The bot answering the questions is identical across all channels, the sorting of channels just eliminates the cross talk between participants

I think if we were to do anything we'd first expand the number of channels rather than start going into programming specific channels. Next we'll have someone asking for a channel for only generating random questions versus the more serious use of creative writing generation

  2. I'm not sure what the keyword filters look like for the ChatGPT bot, but it definitely has moderation and will flag/ban you from use. I have a question about the chatgpt website. The bot itself says it doesn't store or learn from information you provide, but on the FAQ it says it does.
I sent an account deletion email and used the chat, but does the bot delete the information I provided to the AI with the account or just my email and other related information?
Why can I still use my account after a deletion request and why didn't I receive any kind of notification on my email?
Why does it take 1-2 weeks to delete data, especially when everything on the website such as pages or the chat are bot generated?
The whole thing seems very shady, especially since the bot itself provided conflicting information.

TLDR: How can I feed ChatGPT a large amount of text across multiple messages and have it generate responses based on the text in all messages? -- I've been trying to feed it abstracts from 12 scientific studies to get it to summarize the common findings across all of them. I would like to generate a kind of fine-tuning prompt that allows ChatGPT to collect all the information from a session in order to instruct the next session and so on. I don't have a great deal of knowledge about computers, but I have tried two methods, and the results are not yet the best. Could you help me achieve this goal with better results? So anyone found a workaround/solution for the bug where the chatGPT account creation will just NOT send the verification code? I've been wanting to try it out for a while but it just keeps asking me for a code it never sends. I even went and got a different SIM and number to try, and it won't send to that either.

There is a limit to how much ChatGPT will generate to a single question. Possible workarounds:

  1. Simply tell it to "continue".
  2. If it loses its train of thought when you do that, be more specific "continue from where you left off", "continue from [xyz]"
  3. Ask for something that will fit into the limits. Ask for "as short as possible", "without comments", "without explanations", etc.
  4. Break the task into smaller pieces and ask for each part as a separate question.

I have implemented davinci-003 model on a discord chatbot that plays a roles and it works fine but I’m being creative about how to manage him to have “memory” and remember the conversation he has with people

At the start every conversation was new for the bot and it couldn’t remember anyone

I connected it to a database that feeds in the request the last 3 comments of the user he is talking with so now at least can have a minimum conversation remembering the last messages

But it feels quite ineffective plus I have to request a lot of tokens for each comment

Is there any known solution for this?

Accessing chat mode directly from search doesn't work for me. I have got the access email to the new bing. It is working from the sidebar. I'm on dev Edge, and region is UAE. Trying to use chat directly from search also says i need to have access, while I already have. can anyone help here

Also I am using a cache which helps comparing the results of the request for reducing the number of tokens sent, and this is what is bugging me even if I cant figure a better method, this is completely inefficient, having to send and request 3 messages for each new reply is no sense, a waste, thats why Im wondering if everyone is using the same ineffective method or is there a better solution. I cant believe no one else cares about giving the bot the ability of remember users and conversations

I just have some ideas from an unreleased bot:

  1. retrieve chat history in descending order

  2. add messages to beginning of list until over desired number of contextbytes or #break (how user indicates they want to start a new convo)

  3. generate prompt from that.

That's literally what I came here to ask about as well. This was my second time trying the service, and when I load into it, I can type into the prompt box, but then I can't even scroll through the response if it's longer than my screen. If I click outside the box anywhere without typing a prompt, I can't even go back to that box. I can't click on previous conversations that I started while trying to troubleshoot this error.

On my end: running on firefox, and I disabled all of my extensions and cleared my cache from openai and the problem persists, if anyone knows how to fix this

Yeah, I scrolled up a bit and saw that it's been a persistent issue, that's my bad. Tabbing is good for getting back into the text box, but it doesn't help with the scrolling issue, sadly. I suppose I'll come back to it in a couple days to see if they've fixed it

once its finished typing if you right click and then click inspect it will pop up the inspect tool on the side. in you click on 1 elements, 2 layout, 3 scroll down till you find div.flex.flex-grow.flex-col.gap click on it, 4 then on elements right click on it and copy element. (see screen shot )
