One feature I'd like is to be able to keep ChatGPT from mixing up projects. I have 2 projects folders right now and use them for ideas, criticism, etc. The thing is that when something is established, it's saved in the global memory feature, so often ChatGPT will bring up things from the other project and mix them up together. I don’t know about mobile and free, but I can tell you it’s not gonna create a PowerPoint for you all in one package. I’m on a teams account and getting it to modify certain file types is not really reliable thing sometimes you can get a good excel document but it’s better to have it do what you want and copy and paste it trying to get it to behave and do all aspects. That’s not gonna work even with o3-pro.

Working inside of certain file types like Word documents, Excel spreadsheets or PowerPoint require tool usage and it doesn’t mix them well with Imogen and you’re not gonna get good PowerPoint unless you were using 40 image generation

What I learned about fluid intelligence from my human brain training days, is that it looks like you can improve it and thus IQ, but it’s only near transfer tasks and this a training effect. Your actual IQ / fluid intelligence does not increase. If you know what they’re testing for you can game it without having the actual questions and answer answers.

This should be self evident since none of the models have ever performed, as well as you would think they would based on every benchmark we followed what have you believe. They fail on outlier tasks and there’s unfortunately a lot of those.

optional feature, wont be forced for everyone, good for long convos like roleplays, coding, writing, etc.
basically: a way to stop convos from getting cut off when you're deep in something, it can get annoying a lot, especially for those who have the free plan because not everyone may want to spend money on an AI

The reason it is forcing a new chat is because of the context limit of the model, and the way ChatGPT forces the entire conversation history into the context.
It isn't an arbitrary limit. It is a technical limit.

They could fix it by having a rolling recent-context window. But they haven't done that for some reason.

If the new convo has the full memory of the previous one, then it will start already full.
The work-around is when the session starts getting laggy, meaning it will soon be full, ask it for a context dump. It will then summarize the session, and you can paste that into a new one so you don't have to start from scratch.
