actually, that's one of the things you can't be that confident in GPT's answer to. For the conditions you describe, one prompt would probably be better. It doesn't 'think' through things like a person at all, rather it's just building up a context it can work with. Unless you need it to do specific work in-between, it's easier to have one big prompt you can modify if you want it to act on all those instructions at once.

In other words, you're going to be much better results iterating on a single prompt than entering a long set of instructions. I don't know if your 'long' actually counts as "long" to a robot at all, though; that said, if it's too long to fit in a single prompt, this is going to pose way more problems

creative writing is abysmal in GPT and Claude. I've never read anything that isn't embarrassing or that survives more than a couple sentences. The writing is usually filled with tortured analogies. I'd wait a couple years, or Gemini actually has huge context limits (but probably is even worse at creative writing)
