hello. i was hoping To get some insight on something regarding a very large file that I have saved based on the chats i've had with ai after I got cut off for having too large of a chat it tried to direct me to start a new chat but the context was an interactive story and it doesn't transfer well so I've been trying to have the story rewritten without the interactions between me and chat gpt so it's streamlined. But anyways it was my first kick at the can for this kind of stuff so I wasn't retaining memories very much but because I was having concurrent conversations about other things it reached 100 percent in a relatively short amount of time a month or so based on other topics to that and the memories that it was saving were very compact and not a very high resolution for the story.

Anyways lucky me I've been saving a lot of it in word files so I do have something to try and piece together if I'm lucky. Yeah well I had to rebuild a lot of it from my own memory by explaining stuff to it but I didn't make the same mistake twice and I after that issue that it had last week I thought the archived stuff disappeared but it didn't so I managed to open that chat and then I saved both of them to a word file

Just to give you an idea of what I'm working with here the second half that I tried to rebuild and save in word I'm looking at about 1370 pages of text

A lot of that is back and forth with gpt I managed to summarize it in chunks laughably to about thirty pages

But because of the situation where I had to rebuild it it's also missing a lot of core story somewhere out of the middle which I can piece together on my own but I was thinking of writing a book with it it would be nice if I could at least get the whole thing condensed and filter out the back and forth chatting between me and gpt which I imagine might condense it down to a thousand pages or maybe five hundred I don't know

Roughly 322 1000 words in the document itself just for the second half that I tried to fix it retains some of the original stuff from the beginning but the middle is like missing almost completely but I have that saved in a different file I think

What you're probably going to need to do is download the chat from the browser to a file. and then write a program that steps through the conversation digesting it into a structured index of events. Then you'd use that data and pass chunks into the API to extract a more high level analysis of the conversation. a few passes of this, you'd end up with a database of story elements that you'd be able to reference while rebuilding your story

It needs write and execute code to read the file dealing with context limit, then edit the content (often using python automation too in some way), then write and execute the code to overwrite the old contents and then save the file and generate the download link for you. And if you are asking it to work with files online then it becomes even more complex lol

python env it has is also limited on purpose (hw cost), so it gets a timeout disconnect if it can't write and execute something fast enough

but basically, it can't edit anything directly. If it wants to edit a txt manually it needs to rewrite the entire thing into code interpreter which is just not technically possible with env time constraint for longer text

i dont really get a wide utility for ADV with camera enabled if that's what they are referring to with "advanced voice vision". I would love if you could screenshare any app you are using and talk through any troubles you are having. instead of having to type out a very lengthy input to give it context, it can rely on snapshots to know exactly what you are doing. So you could be using Unreal Engine and ask ADV "why is it not grabbing these vertices?" rather than having to type a paragraph question to provide it context.

Gemini does suck but not this one. The votes are on blind tests. 1206 is still too new to have a full set of tests but using it on ai-studio it's very powerfull

The blind tests are daaam near useless. Whatever writing style you like better pretty much. Ive used 1206, doesnt know how many r's are in strawberry to this day.
