All the Adobe software, until fairly recently, was designed for PC first and ported to Mac in each generation. It was extremely obvious to me, since I was taking graphic design classes and used it both on the lab Macs and my PC. It worked fine on both, but theirs was literally missing features and the right click functionality was specifically nerfed in a way that kept being inconvenient.

The software how is designed to work on both natively, but it's fucking wild what everyone assumed. I didn't meet a single person who thought PCs were bar none superior for graphic artists at that time, but they could never explain why Macs were better, they just "knew"
