I truly wonder what the psychology behind this idiot is. I was watching a body cam footage of police officers arresting an immigrant from Dominican Republic who was working low-end jobs in the USA. What he would do is that he would add his American friends that he made on Snapchat and then completely being an idiot, he tried selling this on Snapchat stories. And he somehow didn't have the brain to understand what kind of problems he's going to get himself in when police detained him. This guy was obviously very scared, but the police basically asked him for his password. He complied. Like, he didn't say no or anything like that and he immediately told the police that yes, there could be illegal stuff on there. He basically handed the police everything to throw him away. I am sure there is a cultural angle behind this. He did not live up in the USA. He does not know what kind of evidence is required in a court. He has never been arrested before. He does not know what his rights are. In his mind, he probably thinks that it's some sort of conflict that he is getting into with an authority figure, not realizing how it could destroy his life.
