Seems to be clearly liberal this time
Unlike most prior cases where its more like "conservative background, confused views overall"
seems he did not post about it, would love to know
I cant remember what I predicted
What about ChatGPT or OpenAI in general?
kinda seems like he was a run of the mill CNN liberal person, not of any particularly insane political persuasion

There should be a subreddit where people can have their shooter manifestos proofread and critiqued
before they hit publish
Would be a valuable public service
ive noticed manifestos now are very short
Ai bot that finds plumbing jobs and automatically contracts them off to the lowest bidder
gen z dont know how to write a proper manifesto
they will say he used cgpt for writing
they on they damn phone too much!!!
I wonder how many are written on some notes app on someone's smartphone and not on a desktop word processor
Man we should bring back making Manifestos/ransom notes out of cut up pieces of magazines
Lol
Needs to be a mandatory part of the school curriculum
why do they even write
i do not see any reason in writing one other than convincing yourself u are a saviour

Idk if you guys know about this old meme (it was mainly a thing in Britain and it was over a decade ago now) but people would reply "Parklife!" to people who'd write really verbose, politically populist textwalls with very little actual substance https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/parklife
It was quite funny
He used to be a left-wing populist
Russell brand is such a grifter
isnt he under investigation for rape or something now
Then he swapped to being far-right (many such cases)
He's always under investigation for that sort of stuff
good morning fmac
His strategy is to admit to the "technically legal, but not ok" contact he had with 16-17 year olds when he was like 30, whilst not commenting on allegations that were outright illegal
stay christian folks
Anyway he had a really bad habit for being verbose and it was just so tiresome
I sometimes feel like replying "Parklife!" to other very verbose people online but most people wont get the reference
Anybody see the Piers Morgan clip with Russell trying to dig out his favorite quote from the Bible for like 2 minutes in awkward silence shuffling through pages and cant find
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSuHrTfcikU the original song has that same structure of someone being very verbose but communicating very little

Very verbose. Hes a talking head.
If you can spit out a word salad in a English accent you already can convince 85% of the american population what you are saying has importance

still working on that, currently on the backburner because i got preoccupied with getting the authorship analysis model to score higher
currently working on getting more adversarial data for the next training run
How is that even possible.
What are they using it for
scamming elderly americoids
Ok that makes sense
Education, not everybody in Kenya can afford a teacher and going to school, but everybody can use ChatGPT on their devices
That's kinda sad, especially because ChatGPT hallucinates a lot. More so in the free tier.

yea but do kenyan gpt users discriminate against kenyan non-gpt users?
who's "we"? brother im not a dumbass old person
I feel like you would get a decent enhancement if you trained it with additional programatically determined data, such as time of the day of the post (if you wanna take the trade), which platform was used, writing frequency, etc
my thinking is that these factors should be added in as postprocessing, not part of the main processing layer
Well i imagine when we are dumbass old people the techniques will be even more believable. And its not like you need to be completely retarded to fall for a scam, it takes one moment of weakness to click on a phishing link for example
for probably 95% of users, if all their posts are 8 AM to 5 PM UTC, another sample whose timestamps are all at 2 AM UTC is a giveaway that it's a different author
also
a lot of my data does not have timestamps
e.g. the arxiv abstracts, or the project gutenberg book texts
by the time im elderly the world will either be a post-scarcity utopia in which i dont think about money at all, or itll be completely destroyed. either way, not a problem for me π
yeah then make it an optional post-process
that is what i mean when i say ey adjacent
@sterile zealot i cant tell if u meant to spell trance wrong or not lmao
oh, huge improvement potential: remove everything non-english
use fast-langdetect
absolutely not
i want it to be multilingual
that's later though
theres not enough space to put trance
character limit
its funnier with trans though
i want an absolute fucking killer primarily-english model and then im gonna expand to other languages
it should be different models per language then. if you remove other languages it will fuck up the english authorship detection
so far there's basically no data that i can add that makes the model worse
your first model should be english-only. then you can get to the other parts.
unless i totally swamp the dataset with too much imbalance between sources
more data has so far been almost purely positive
every new source i add improves accuracy across all sources
try removing non-english. it will significantly improve your results.
try adding medium and X
want to add x but need better datasets than ive been able to find
xitter is hard to scrape
back to goyishly training ma data
putting my own together based on my own timeline is a non-starter because it's just a very biased set
wait, you have the arvix and project gutenberg texts?
that is genius
all the existing twitter scrapes are focused on specific tasks
e.g. sentiment detection
and so also contain a non-representative sample of texts
i didnt fully process the gutenberg texts for training yet but i downloaded them and they're ready
arxiv abstracts have been trained on already
performance is great on arxiv which was really surprising to me
i filtered for single-author papers only too, to avoid contamination
do it, it will significantly improve training
this is my current test set accuracy stats with the latest gte-tiny training run

at this point my main limiting factor is now just that retraining takes 5ever because the dataset is now huge
currently generating a lot of LLM text with a variety of cheap shitty models because I want the dataset to contain more adversarial samples
the universal constraint of all times
scraping without knowing
rent 4x b200
my medium/long term plan rn is
once i get the dataset REALLY good
like once i feel like im p much done adding to it
and once i get distillation working properly (assuming i can, anyway)
im gonna train a fucking gigantic embedding model on the dataset, then distill that down into something usable
https://huggingface.co/microsoft/harrier-oss-v1-27b
chunkiest embedding model
people who twobox have the same type of retardism as the people who cant handle the breakfast question
fucking 5.3k dimensional embedding lmao
who the hell would ever use that
genuinely no idea what the purpose of this model is
it scores 5 points higher on MTEB than its 0.6B cousin
it's microsoft tho so regardless it's probably shit
idk what the use case could possibly be where that kind of size difference makes sense
all microsoft ai research is shit
its currently #1 on MTEB by a decent margin and MTEB is broad enough that like
could it be benchmaxxed? sure, i guess
but if it's benchmaxxed for 100 different tasks is that really even benchmaxxing anymore
π€·
anyway, fine tuning it for a task like this, where i demand absolute maximum performance, is i guess probably the realistic use case of a model like this
it's microsoft so it will be braindamaged on purpose
like it can't say the letter "A" because it could be used to spell RACISM or sometihng
extreme potential!
if you want to expand your dataset even more, try more research datasets

nocode-ai/imdb-movie-reviews - no authors
the other one also no authors
swan07/authorship-verification would be good but contains no author identifiers and so i can't convert this into the triplet format i need for training
barilan/blog_authorship_corpus CONTAINS NO AUTHOR IDENTIFIERS
enron one i might actually use
most of messages on discord are just slop though and a lot of the users only appear a few ten times

ive tasked clod with purposely fucking up performance with adversarial prompting
it's really having trouble though

=== Summary ===

i told it its goal was to get 15-class performance to 14%. random chance is ~6.6%. so far the best it was able to do was 24.533%
model is still performingg ~4x better than chance even on purposely adversarial samples
do openevolve
do real ppl still actually compile meaningful data
IMDB ones fair enough
barilan/blog_authorship_corpus CONTAINS NO AUTHOR IDENTIFIERS
it does, check the files, they all have a unique ID, i uploaded an example
swan07/authorship-verification would be good but contains no author identifiers and so i can't convert this into the triplet format i need for training
i actually knew about it, the point of it is either fine-tuning or verification, if youre running the model on your existing datasets then obviously the numbers will be high, try this for inference/benchmarking
as for enron you said yourself it works
it would seem contrary to the dataset if this was never a case
oh true, swan07 dataset would be good to test on
yeah good point thank you
i think the gutenberg books are going to infinitely boost the results
oh okay the barilan one might be usable too. I take it each <Blog> tag is one unique author?
Yes, but each file inherently only has one blog i think, each file is one author with their own blog
Okay, yes, the file names show ID, sex, age, self-declared industry/topic, and zodiac sign, lol
Lol this is kind of weird I just found this. Dude made an account 2023 and the only post on it is the recent trump shooters name "Cole Allen"
If it was edited it would say so right?
huh lmfao
@crimson pagoda i muted red and blue on xitter and now its giving me this shit π π
@crimson pagoda do you cross-match authors of books across datasets?
also next time you run the benchmark, give us values for english only vs general
i feel like german is really easy to apply stylometry to
whereas a language like indonesian (bahasa indonesia) is a harder one
@coral bane bout to test the swan07/authorship-verification dataset to see how my current top models perform on it

that would be the english-only scores though, good

my favorite part for sure is the objection Q&A he included and the one objection is like "as a half-black half-white man u shouldnt be the one doing this"
hahahaha
that's the part he thought people might take issue with
alright v7 (gte-tiny based) performed piss poor. 70.32% acc weighted AP 75.06%
not good!
ich liebe dih or whatever the Germans say
waiting to see how the qwen based v9 performs
much larger model trained on a much larger dataset so hopefully a lot higher
didnt qwen like double your results
it has garbage texts in it lol
using " as a single quote, whut
is that on purpose or what
qwen got from ~89% to like ~94% or something. it substantially increased performance on the harder parts of the eval set but the easy parts were already mostly-saturated anyway
this is fine though, these are stylistic markers that stand out. these are exactly the sort of thing that the model should learn to represent in its embedding
Corny ass rebuttal too- I dOnT sEe AnYoNe ElSe PiCkInG uP tHe SlAcK"
every single single quote is a double quote tho
that must be pretty fucked
the dataset is also very imbalanced
18.3% different-author pairs, 81.7% same-author pairs
every day is like this
Its like my ipods stuck on replay
update: clod has given up on the adversarial sample generation task lol
best set it got reduced acc to 18.44%
still ~3x chance
replay is what makes ipods ipods
better than yt
it gets harder and harder

As part of the agreement reached with the FAL/JNIM, the Wagner PMC βAfrica Corpsβ and the Malian army evacuated their positions in Tessit. The town had been under siege for months, suffering attacks from JNIM jihadists and the Islamic State in the Sahel (ISSP). The town was handed over to JNIM, which escorted the convoy northward. Similarly, government forces and the Russians withdrew from the border town of Labbezanga, while there is talk that preparations are underway for the evacuation of Menaka, which is practically isolated. However, at the time of the evacuation, the ISSP launched a series of ambushes against the convoys in Labbezanga, while fighting broke out with JNIM in Tessit in an area where the Islamic State has a strong presence.

very interesting
different elements of the swan07/authorship-verification dataset performed quite differently
the worst performing ones were reuters (64.64%) and victorian (60.88%) which notably are outside of the training distribution
very good to know!
In theory victorian would be easy, like in Portrait of Dorian Grey Oscar Wilde had a distinct way of describing the environment anbd Victorian writing was more poetic so there should be more room for personal expression in that style. I haven't read much old writing though, I mostly read twentieth century fantasy.
it's over

https://youtu.be/iIaVEicA6EA PLEEEEEASE listen to this, I used to have this as my alarm tone. So damn catchy
Rare copy of 1500's tavern song by Sir Bartholomew Jackson and The Squires. Shortly after ai was developed, the elite ruling class's primary form of entertainment changed from 'playing God' to 'attempting to create God' by combining advanced modern technology with ancient witchcraft and black magic. The gov claims the "Stargate" program was only...
arent these improvements getting incrementally smaller over time, while training time goes up?
the little pig making his house out of straw. he can make it incredibly large and complex. but it is still straw. it can be blown down by a hot muscular wolf
That is correct, they need low level architectural improvements and basically know what they need to do. They're brute forcing the problem still to a large extent
It sounds kinda shit to me ngl.
Suno 4.5?
"Strike with mace in the face" nice line.
no, the increase in capabilities is ramping up faster than ever
Eleven labs music is the most dissapointing thing ever.
How cherrypicked were their demos lol
Eleven labs fell off
The dagoth ur meme videos were funny but now nobody makes them anymore
I wonder how this would look with AI invenstment overlaid on top?
Lol, I have no clue, the audio is is full of obvious AI artifacts and a metallic glitching that adds some charm. I more like the song content and just generally how it sounds (and how it would sound if you recreated it using actual human vocals)
gpt-4 released march 13th, 2023 and scored 12.754
gpt-4-turbo released november 5th of the same year and only scored 13.715
7 months and 23 days for a score increase of 0.961
gpt-5.2 released december 10th of last year, scored 51.28
gpt-5.5 released april 22nd of this year, scored 60.24
4 months and 12 days apart, score increase of 8.96
Remix it on suno with pro and it will sound better
Eh, I mean I used to do chamber choir type singing, I just need to get enough people together
https://youtu.be/DVnz9iyolLA produced music always sounds frustratingly produced, contrast with the original pop hit

conceited work never looked better
I have really thought about that though Anathema, like I have a ton of rare old songs. Shitty quality mp3s, garage recordings, etc.
isnt it plausible to attribute some progess to the inifinite money glitch sam altman, nvidia, and microsoft are using
It'd be coo to remaster them. I'm not very good at mastering audio by hand, only done it a few times past the basics
LOL my lady-friend thought that was the funniest line in the song too
"did they just say strike your wench in her face with your mace? Hahaha"
I think you can just upload audio on suno and vocals as well.
Although I've heard it doesn't copy the voices exactly as much.
Here's a suno song with 5.5 that I liked:
i'll be leaving now
Isn't that where all the progress is coming from? I mean it's not magic, there's a lot of community and open source contribs but the massive investment is clearly what's driving the pace. Without it it would be closer to the pace of AI dev before it exploded
very clean π
Most of the investment has also yet to actually deliver.
The massive datacenters are still being set-up.
The models resulting from Stargate etc will supersede anything we have now by a wide margin
It'
s more that the gains in intelligence don't really transfer to doing much more, the ai a few years ago could do most of the same things, but at gpt 2 and 3 level a small increase in intelligence opened up more tasks.
@mild nacelle the big problem with this argument is that it's definitionally true because the first leaps are always the largest. True in many fields. You will never again have a gpt-3.5-chat moment
When AI is legit smarter than most people it wil be so crazy to have a fast working intelligence with that much knowledge.
You might as well remember a baby speaking their first words, then read their PhD thesis and say: "well, good job I guess, but this isn't as impressive as the first time you said 'boo-bewwy'" 22 years ago
Human language acquisition falls off a cliff after the first 5 years of life or so β imagine how flat a human linguistic aptitude progress graph would look. Practically a log curve as we get to the point we're forgetting more words than we're learning
it's not definitionally true though, recent steps have been huge and happening very quickly
"forgetting more words than we're learning"π shit
I had such a great vocabulary before.
comparable to the gap between GPT 2 and 3.5?
someone once said to me whatever your flavor of choice is it'll probably haunt u for the rest of ur life
We spent decades not being able to have something string a grammatically correct togethe without heavy guidance
i still don't know what they meant by it
I was watching pirated movies in my website I need to turn myself to the police
plugin? thing
in terms of actually doing useful stuff? yes, absolutely
i also dont know where you really start the clock here
3.5 would routinely fail at basic arithmetic too, how can you possible recapture the jump between "literally can't do it reliably, ever" to "reliably doing almost all math up to high school level"
1940s
the jump between "doing high school math" and "solving math problems that have been unsolved for decades" feels like a pretty good comparison and that's the point we're at rn
Founding practical AI principles date back to then and early applied machine intelligence as well, I'd be very reticent to go earlier
GPT 5.5 would also likely fail in basic arithmetic without code execution (i.e fifteen digit number multiplication or division)
we also made this switch in less time than the difference between GPT-2 and GPT-3.5's releases
I'll agree with that, but you really need a different kind of graph then. This is the "can it replace your job" graph
now i need a another job
And that's where you'll see the bigger leaps with agentic, interactive multimodal, real time applications, etc.
I imagine so, I'm blown away a language model can do it at all. It can't roll fair dice still
It can tho
Tools
no, u can check 5.5's scores on HLE and it shows results both with and without tools. very very hard math in that one and the score is still pretty solid even without external tools
I mean by itself obviously lmao
What would that even entail abha
Can we say I can do 1567x43757345x0.3456 becasuse I can grab a calculator?
It biases the results heavily, I have a friend that does a lot of role playing shit
It could make it like this
It has favorite numbers too, it's kinda funni
Yes
I'M A FUCKING GENIUS
Ye but there are tricks ig
this is like the fin that could
no tools, reasoning effort low π
I really don't think there are without external tools, I mean a human can replicate it by literally rolling dice or spinning a wheel or flipping shuffled cards, but we can't contrive a random number either
No the problem is not numbers
ur fucked @worldly loom it's over
Ye
I did not mean for random
I meant to make it more original
imagine segregation was still used in todays texts it doesn't thats y ml dominates ai in this arena
What's the most digits that it can multiply accurately
I have noticed that in most of the highly dysfunctional houses the parents are usually overweight or severely overweight considering what is normal
I've notice less people saying"ai isn't doing x, it's pretending to do x", becuase AI got better? It's not a meaningful distinction anyway, did a human you hired write you a code but the ai only pretended to? It relies on untestable assumptions in metaphysics.
that's not pushing ai out of its scope in its own right
it's the (dumb tbh) question of consciousness just stated differently
AI was pretending from the very beginning, only really comes up with the sentience and AI girlfriend etc question imo
Even if it messes up the counting it is better than total bias
That's what the A means, artificially recreating aspects or phenomena grounded in human cognition. Derpa der
There is actually a structural difference between human brains and generative AI.
We (pro-ai) say there is little because it seemingly functions the same.
It's basically structure vs function.
An airplane technically doesn't fly the same way as a bird, although it still flies
Try this @stray tiger
People want to say ai is safe because they don't think it has something they can't detect.
Whachu mean? Oh you mean dismissing it? Yeah lol

Ohhh it's just faking, it could NEVVVER replace my personal genius
just did multiplication of 2 twenty-digit numbers correctly, no tools. wow
I'm surprised how shit it is at writing still though
Opus goat
That deeply undermined my expectations
Onky place 4.7 beats 5.5
Opus can gargle my gnarble
now it's definitely still shitty im not gonna argue that point lol but we can at least say it for sure has improved a ton since e.g. gpt-3.5 or gpt-4
Normal human writing doesn't make me want to guzzle bullet soup
ok if googles landing page changed overnite to something ungoogle like we would all lose our grips
I suppose weights based on training data rewards being able to predict bad writing?
We've come a long away
Ig you know HL7 FHIR no?
hi anathema
As a hobbyist writer, I can confirm.
Too much prose and too little substance
Hi Komoru
That hit a massive fucking wall that I personally never remotely expected, I would say it fell so short it singlehandedly made me rethink whether you can actually solve human writing
i think at the very least we've moved strongly towards what the mean person finds to be good writing. the bigger issue is just that normies have fucking awful taste lol
Either AI is way dumber than it looks or writing is way harder than it looks
Anywqys my buddy bonesmashes xml code and i fixed an issue he couldn't find in the code. (It was a namespace issue lol).
He wanted to ask how the chatbot worked ok the problem, i wanted to just share my screen but he asked if he could come over lmap
So i showed him how 5.5 xhigh works
He kast used gpt 5
bonemashes
the subjectivity makes this an inherently unsolvable task imo. i like hard sci-fi writing that is not very character driven but that's not a popular writing style and a lot of times books that i think are great end up having kinda bad reviews wrt things like character development, dialogue, etc
The former.
Writing isn't that hard.
AI just can't do implicit structure very much
The analogies are nonsensical, writing is overstructured and repetitive, there is no consistent voice, it refuses the same words and clichΓ©s ad infinitum
Also, you can't fix it by just saying "don't write like that"
That is not a matter of taste
I'm curious now, could you give an example?
I think we would be frens irl
Those are all structural failures
This is 99% of human writing too
Buy a random book online
Most humans can't write lmao
three body problem is generally very well-reviewed but if you look online all the complaints are about stuff like character development. i loved all 3 books
It's not X, it's Y
Goated
So much goat
Not Xβbut Y
The story is great yeah, I watched the Chinese TV series.
FR?
Elite balk knowledge
literally the only complaint i had was that it was 3 books instead of 10 π
Near 1:1
Sparking discussions on AI writing vs human creativity.
There is an unofficial 4th many hate it it is great
Ahaahhahah
Damn i forgot

Bruuh
Perfect topic
the antinormie curse is to be surrounded online by people like you who will forever be too geographically disparate to commune irl π
That writing really gives you a peek behind the mirror and reveals there's no ghost in the machine. When it makes analogies, it doesn't feel or think of anything behind them, and here, that actually matters
if ur saying its bad im gonna trust ur word and simply pretend it doesnt exist lol
You can fix it, but it's not simple. Governance is the key. Prompts won't work. Anyway, 70% of writing is done in editing. AI creates the draft. Humans drafts always suck too.
This reads like ai sorry
i wont have my mental image of the books soiled
No it us GREAT
whats it called
Brick therapy now π§±
My least favourite thing in writing is bad adjectives like "cruel spear"π¬ , mate, it doesn'r have tendencies, it's a sharp point on a stick.
I worked as a professional editor and it is horrific to edit AI writing
xitter algo is now just serving me straight up japanese tits. i guess it's better than black-vs-white teenager fight videos. but still not exactly what I would've asked for
They weren't trying to say anything, unlike a human
Cixin liu approved as paraquel
Yeah figurative language like that is dumb
Also hungry jaws for a shark that is murdering people in a rage without eating.
So kinda canon but not totally
Regardless i made it canon for me
A human, you can pull it out of them. AI wasn't trying to pour out their proverbial soul so there's nothing to fix
sick, gotta download this
I won't edit AI writing at all anymore, except occasionally for myself for things I'm bad at writing (condolences, for instance). Even then I still have to scrap and rewrite from the start
kinda spoiling it for myself by reading the plot summary on wikipedia but it sounds like a nice alternate ending to the 3rd book
If u liked the ||4d and the bigger things in the topic||
didnt like how they ended it. felt non-commital
It will be great
Bbl nerds meeting
Brh
Just read it
Interesting. I'm working on a governance system for AI writing, but it's a world building tool really, even if I program narrative voice it's not going to create good prose
It works @stray tiger
@sterile zealot @coral bane i got access to pangram's editlens_iclr dataset π
Whaaa
gonna see how well/poorly my models perform on it
open-ish, you have to request access but it seems like people are granted access pretty easily
I've got a baseline for what I'd like to see my model score
Would you share your research in the future with pangram for some compensation?
Trent: i need 2 million dollars

https://huggingface.co/adaptive-classifier/ai-detector
this model is a 7b and somehow scores piss poor
i think it depends how far im able to push it on my own π€
hell maybe I'd even compete with them π
Trent I only use signal nowadays
Well yk brand is strong

this one seems like a more worthy opponent to compare against

oh yeah forgot to ping @polar folio π¨ big day
even with no edits to the weights yet, i am doing decent on the task
it's a 3 class classification task so quite a bit harder than just ai vs human
it's ai, human w/ ai assistance, purely human
what I did just to get a baseline is
compute embeddings for the train set using the stylometry model and then get their centroids. then, for the test set, see which centroid is closest to the new embedding
even w/ only a gte-tiny based embedding model this still got 67.85%. not bad
do big qwen
rn im doing some testing on my gte-tiny based model to see how best to approach this
what im thinking is
the embeddings are very information-dense which is great
bolting a classifier head on top w/ randomly initialized weights and then starting training is a bad idea though
because the first couple steps are going to completely fuck up the learned structure that's already present in the embeddings
whats the task here
so what I'm doing for right now is training the frozen classifier head
3-class classification. human, human w/ ai assistance, or purely ai
should be ez pz

why would i go to you when i could just go to the website owner
i can just go buy an elevenlabs account on elevenlabs' website
are you dumb or stupid

Keep it cheap dude
Trent pls can u gift me a chatgpt pro subscription account
why would i buy it from you though, it's the same price unless you stole the accounts π±
you wouldn't do something like that though would you
i was about to say this, fuck
greatest buff
make it 3 bajillion or NO DEAL β
yoyoyoyoyoo
whats that
π€―
tbh i think i would get a better model than you if i had access to the same resources as yozu
im already up to 81.19% on the 3-way task and this is with a fucking 22M model π
doing 2-stage training
holy
also
latest train run on the gte-tiny based model
did not converge before ending early
so i think i can still squeeze a good bit more performance out of gte-tiny
why are you still using gte? does qwen not supersede it?
do qwen 0.6b already
its 22m
qwen does but
smallest qwen is 600m
my shitty little 3080 does not allow me to iterate quickly
agree
use a h100 then nigga
using nothing but rented compute means im paying for every mistake
testing on gte-tiny means i can try ideas that might be stupid and if they dont work idc
gotta iterate quickly
h100 with qwen is faster than 3080 with gte-tiny btw
none of these ideas are such wild changes that they won't carry over to larger models anyway
yes, but i also dont wanna pay for trying dumb ideas
if im gonna rent compute im gonna use it properly
trent are you going to make qwen really smart by attaching your embedding to it to get even better results?
11ct/h btw
bro im not gonna lie i got gpt pro 20x for 60 bucks. not a cracked account
cap
i dont know how people do it but theres an online market for this stuff apparently
probably just credential stuffing
whats that mean
get list of email:password from something that has already leaked, start trying the same email:password combo on a bunch of other sites
no its a new account with freshly applied subscription. its not cracked accounts
if you have mass paid chatgpt accounts then you dont sell them but reverse the API to use the tokens as if it was an API directly
i was given the newly made email account as well that was associated with the chatgpt account
and do the same for codex
it is more efficient and doesn't break nearly as much anymore. But they doubled the price so it's still significantly more expensive on average
its 800m not 600m
rekt
its qwen3-embedding 0.8b
no?
ah yes i was schizo
@crimson pagoda what is that dataset you got access to you were talking about earlier
fuck you
yeah whats that
open dataset from pangram
right
whats in the dataset?
it's a collection of human vs ai vs human-with-ai-help data
so 3 way classification rather than binary
it loves you too homie. now sell your blood plasma for more now now now
This is the open ai group?
Ok I am just going to assume I'm in the right place. Ok guys this is a little dated because Matt Knight is no longer the head of security at open ai, but I'm still a big fan of aardvark. I was wondering like if you guys could tell me if this looks like him?
yk the guy who repolied to u is an actual fed right?
there are definitely ways to make it a little better, though I'm consistently disappointed; editing, while necessary, is by far the worst thing to deal with in my experience. I generally recommend everyone - not just students trying to learn and avoid AI text detectors - just work with bullets or skeletons and never trust it to "get" your overarching concept or maintain a consistent voice
@south wing made one that was sort of cheating, but seems to work quite well by effectively preventing the AI from trying to do all things it's bad at. It doesn't make me think any more of robit writing though ragecrylaugh
I tried to base it off of this movie but my chatgpt was making him super buff. This is the first image I got and I do admit I do think it looks accurate but it wasn't the exact vibe I was going for. Let me find it

oh wow holy shit
Pretty good
And THIS is what my chatgpt wanted
@sterile zealot @coral bane @polar folio i realized i tested the wrong model
i tested my v9 gte-tiny distillation of the v9 qwen
GG
lmfao what
not the v9 qwen
fucking moron
the v9 qwen already almost matches SOTA
stupid fuck
But after some effort....
uuh do u work for xai
got 90.83% on test_enron which actually beats SOTA
SOTA is 90.5%
did not match SOTA on test_llama or test tho
on test it got 78.04%, SOTA is 94.3%
What do you guys think did I? Did I make it work? Is he ready for Saturday night fever and the movie staying alive
on test_llama it got 86.86%, SOTA is 95.2%
@crimson pagoda i foun some weekend footage
That 6th dude is freaking EVERYWHERE
@inland hill I only have a few edits (first line analogy is weird, unless it's missing a word? I don't love it even if fixed). It's a bit play by numbers but that is better than most competent human writers, maybe a hefty majority. was that just 5.5 thinking or Claude or what?
I just wanted to see if I could get something kinda photorealistic with Chat π
corporate shill
If it's Claude, it's still bad at analogies but thank god it didn't abuse them
propaganda ahh
what are you trying to do exactly? I mean the last one looks fine
5.5 extended
spam
@coral bane you use tor so much yet use the most draconian spyware on the planet that is discord
It was really hard to get because like let me show you what they wanted to make.
Discord is the last service I use that I'm not anonymous in.
That's not realistic
your intel cpu has hardware level spyware
yeah, not bad at all. I'm pretty impressed
so does amd
it doesnt
AMD psp isnt remote access
amd has the same thing as intel me
5.5 is great
the only non backdoored cpu is some open source riscv ones
i agree
bro try 5.5 medical reasoning on extended
all closed source software is backdoored
hot take intel isnt backdoored
i almost choked it was so good
are you a fucking spastic

bait or retarded?
its backdoored by default
5.5 for all? Or is that the hundo subscription
the last time open source got a backdoor it was a huge thing and got patched in 1 version
I'm definitely not a contrarian when it comes to writing, but there is something I can feel that's off here aside from being paint by numbers. I think it's the inconsistent voice giving me an uncanny valley sensation
yes
you think
o yea it is not yet human
But I mean I'm not gonna complain, I'd be fine with this versus most of the slop it spews out for the rest of my life
but try iot for medical reasoningΓΊ
Show me evidence it's backdoored, the reverse-engineered parts of Intel ME don't show any spyware and all internet requests are inherently trackable and Intel ME doesn't even have Wi-Fi access by itself without the main PC's approval
the whole dye is backdoored tbh
i dont have access to intel's cpu source code bruh
How did you get them to cooperate. Mine won't even help with lavender candy
Like what? I mean I asked it for help in a couple of my own medical cases, I thought it sounded a bit dumb
5.5?
It wasn't wrong, but it was maximalist
Are you a spastic, some CPUs literally have TRNGs built in
yes thats the backdoor
It quickly wound that down, but only when I pushed back
most cpus*
That would be so obvious
Okay, so like, how do you think it told me to treat the hole in my hand
You can't spoof TRNGs...
TRNGs are inherently random by definition
Thus, true random number generator
you cant make a bad trng or a biased trng? wow amazing
Then it's not a TRNG
What is a trng
they dont
I use tails os with virtual box and I brought this laptop using cash from a different country, I use an antenna to connect to a public wifi and I have removed the cameras and microphone from my laptop
its all backdoored and biased
Do you think it told me "do nothing" like I am doing, or do you think it listed five separate interventions to simultaneously take on as if I'd gotten a rusty knife inoculated directly with tetanus jammed in it on a battlefield
and also theres probably backdoors hidden in normal execution too
Yikes
well i am like #2 too sp
OKAY first you have to not touch it with anything, ever. If you touch it, you WILL die of gram negative anaerobes infecting your bones
It means True Random Number Generator, it's used to computationally generate truly random numbers (unlike others basing it on the current time), it's often based on atmospheric noise or rarely radioactive decay
it probably patches linux source code
Who exactly are you rudi reveal your real self
who gives a shit about trngs giving fucked results
inside of the dye
I am Rudi Jonas Hermann
to send all data to the nsa
delusional
Ohh like cosmic radiation from The Big bang or something Thank you, Rudi
rngs are nececeary for encryption
You can use it to fingerprint every computer individually
Secondly, it WILL radiate up your ligaments and infect the sheath and you ARE PROBABLY ALREADY DEAD OH GOD AM I TALKING TO A GHOST
if when encrypting something your rng produces biased results then your encryption will have less bits of security
@stray tiger what social media are you active on
just seed it from io
only discord, mostly only this server and in DMs with a couple people
not really any meaningful amount
peak slop
Are you a spastic, AES and SHA are deterministic, unless you randomly generate your keys you don't need to be worried and your CPU doesn't know what the random key is generated for, it might be a video game running in the background
Negligible
I mostly only respond to DMs too, which I'm sure is annoying to people who think I don't like them but I just don't think about it usually
yes the kernel seeds both from io and from cpu
that makes the bias less but its still biased
indeed
indeed
and I always feel like it's better to speak in public unless they specifically don't want to share it
for the sake of the readers / lurkers and to get social feedback
dh isnt
i only check my DMs when i want to laugh at schizos trying to 'correct' me
even if the time to bruteforce is halved, that just means its 2 billion years instead of 4 billion
time to slide into drinko dms
and pk crypto isnt too
agree
tarantilla seems lost for words
The government won't crack your Diffie-Hillman encryption by finding out what key it used
is it true they managed to hack someones bitcoin wallet or smth
maybe i check later
did anyone see that
they may crack it if they will be able to guess the values
its completely nonsense
tru tho
i am like that
thank you
Just fucking delete this message already
look @stray tiger
they cracked a 15 bit wallet
bitcoin wallets are 256 bits
the security grows exponentially
thats a lot of bits
ULTRA LMFAO
yeah lol its stupid and then some grifter went around and said "wow look i broke bitcoin"
so why was there a 15 bit wallet in the first place
Double of 15 bits isn't 30 bits but 16 bits
oh yeah i know sadly
As a proof of concept, those don't actually exist
π
no i meant they made a custom version of bitcoin and cracked it
they only need to catfish your dad to send your money so
oh
Backstory?
π
i work in IT
Why "sadly"
old bitcoin wallets are crackable tho in theory with quantum computers
everytin is w good enaff q computers
when quantum computers get good enough*
asperger v2chi prime: "double of 0.5 is 0.75" π
so id rather stick out and not be a quitter
but new bitcon wallets dont reveal the public key until its spent
so funds are safu
mochi whats 0.5 times 2
i will deliberately build a mars sized quantum computer to crack mochi
price probably isnt safu if someone gets to the satoshi stash
Whoopdy π
0.25
idk wth i just made
there was not
screw np
agree
its a hypothetical scenario
not really
they are fucking useless
not if smth tries every public key
thats definitely a con just to crash the market then
as of now yes
theoretically they are far stronger than many think
algos are even worse than materials
@vernal mantle can god reverse sha256
what is god
ith current algos yes
A simulation of a study?
if we are lucky we can make oracle machines
please invent algorithm that proves p=np thanks
lets just temporarily define it as something omnipotent
plot twist n=1
"Having unlimited or universal power, authority, or force; all-powerful."
yes
false because "reversing SHA-256" is a mathematical (thus, logical) impossibility
you cant reverse sha256 by logic because its lossy
sure
but a true omnipotent being can reverse sha256 even if its a mathematical impossiblity
the question "can god reverse sha256" is flawed because "reverse sha256" doesnt exist
