Basically its a server for Pokemon trades and they use forum channels extensively so that people can start new threads for new requests/offers

And thus one of the rules is "no hijacking" - you shouldn't just start sending messages in another person's thread about something totally unrelated

Another rule is "no soliciting DMs"

I think this guy just fundamentally could not figure out what people meant by "start a new thread" or what a "forum" was a in general so he just kept hijacking posts, posting in non-trade channels, or asking people to DM him instead

And just didn't care to learn how to do it properly, its the sort of behaviour you see in teens who are disinterested in learning what they did wrong and just repeat the same basic behaviour figuring it will be fine next time
