The subreddit r/MtF is a trans focused subreddit specifically intended for those who are transitioning from Male to Female. This sub does allow NSFW posts, mainly for surgery progress, but Porn is strictly banned and the sub is meant to be minor-friendly.

The head moderator is known as CedarWolf. About 6 months ago, it was discovered that one of the other mods (Ranshin-da-anarchist) is in fact a Convicted Sex Offender. CedarWolf did not respond well to his news as said user is their close personal friend. In fact, CedarWolf made just about the dumbest suggestion possible in the circumstances. She decided to have Ranshin delete their account and create a new acct with a more generic name that was less easily traced back to their IRL Sex Offender registration.

As you might imagine, this did NOT go over well with the rest of the mod team. They questioned why it was necessary to keep Ranshin on the mod team at all, but they were consistently overruled by CedarWolf. This drama was kept isolated to the Admin Discord server to prevent Conservative Media from finding out, but this just let the gas fumes continue to build up. All it would take for this powder keg to go off was a spark.

That spark came when it was learned that Ranshin had not been entirely honest about the circumstances of their Sex Offender conviction. (See image #3
). Ranshin claimed they had been dating a 15 year old while they were 19 with parental permission and that a bigoted roommate had "ratted to the Cops."

Well that turned out not to be true. The conviction happened when Ranshin was 21 and furthermore, the conviction was for possession of child pornography. It wasn't just their partner sending nudes either, further digging uncovered that Ranshin had been going into chatrooms and seeking out CSAM images as well as inappropriate interactions with minors. At the time of Ranshin's arrest, they were found to have CSAM images taken firsthand without the child's consent. The age of the child is also not listed, meaning they were considerably young. This wasn't Ranshin's first brush with the law either. According to their ex-partner (again see image #3) Ranshin had literally gone to a Junior High Graduation and sexually harassed Jr High Students. Yet more victims came forward stating that Ranshin had sexually harassed them at all ages Pride Events. This is not hearsay, as Ranshin is actually banned from those events.

User Living-East-8486 decided to go public with this information.

When this information was revealed, CedarWolf went into full damage control mode. r/MtF was locked down and all posts set to manual approval. Cedarwolf then posted a wall of text attempting to deflect by citing a previous drama that Living-East had been involved in. CedarWolf makes multiple claims that Living-East is violating reddit rules, that Living-East's posts are harassment. Anything to deflect from the issue at hand: That CedarWolf tried to re-mod a convicted sex offender.
