If I tried to give an opinion on a topic and see how the ai reacts there's a high chance it would say I'm not crazy for noticing this, I wonder if this is due to it being trained on data of people ranting and what expected responses people give to them

I think its in large part because people give thumbs up feedback when it agrees with them and thumbs down feedback when it disagrees with them

And in any case training the AI to be sympathetic and agreeable will cause shit like that

It can quickly tip the other way with it trying to disagree with you despite not really differing from what you said

I think it's better to know that in a lot of prompts there's no right answer and since you are not talking to a human it's often going to fall back on giving similar types of responses even if you try very hard to make it sound like a human
