I use Sign in with Apple with a privaterelay.appleid.com email and have never needed SMS validation. Sign in with Apple already uses Apple’s MFA, so additional phone validation should be unnecessary. I’ve tried switching devices, I always get the prompt in the browser. The iOS app is happy though.

Takeaway: code identifiers are already the compressed representation. Embedding them actually loses information — exact match over signatures keeps it.

it's hard to explain tbh. The 1-2 weeks or so leading up to Opus 4.7 release, I already noticed some (somewhat) buggy behaviour to the style/verbosity etc (despite not changing any of those settings)

but if I anecdotally remove that period, and compare with say 2-3 weeks prior and before, I'd say the cadence/output has indeed changed at least mild-moderately

one thing I'm noticing - despite the drop in benchmarks (I think?) of retaining long context window stuff (eg. beyond 200-400k tokens) with Opus 4.7, I'm noticing a moderately good improvement in reality
