Based on their numbers, 1500 of their "credits" is equal to 5,000,000 tokens but it doesnt say what models tokens, its definitely not model agnostic because that would be 75 million opus 4.6 tokens which is worth $1900.

If you have actually made money with these products that equates to more than you have paid them, than by all means continue. However if you havent I highly suggest stopping the use of these, even the most predatory subscriptions like ChatGPT Pro and Claude Max would probably be better money spent than this service.

I just joined this discord after changing from monthly to yearly pro sub. I sub to both ChatGPT and Perplexity but will cancel C once I have all of my stuff deleted. Perplexity can use ChatGPT as well as many other LLMs. It uses the best one per your question, or you can select one. I personally find that I just like the way Perplexity is much more factual (linking to every resource it uses - with actual real links lol - a problem ChatGPT had earlier on anyway.) Perplexity is a good writer, meaning it doesn’t look like it’s trying to be a “good writer”. After using P for about a year now, I can spot ChatGPT all over the place - just saturating social media and blogs the world over. Even though P can use ChatGPT, I can’t figure out how to make ChatGPT talk normally. I can’t get it to stop giving me its signature “flavor” that I can now detect anywhere. I also use P and any other AI mostly for research and references as well as a whole lot of training and step by step guidance for so many tasks it would have taken days to understand how to do by google searches. C can do that too though, but I somehow trust the information I’m getting from P more than I do C. I also appreciate the Perplexity News summaries in the upper right corner - the major news stories in summary so I don’t have to go to a news site or simply believe social media. Before this charge occurred, I had already cancelled the credit card associated with this subscription. In addition, I previously received an email from Perplexity stating: “Action Required: Add a card to keep your Perplexity Pro trial,” which clearly indicated that I needed to add a valid payment method in order to continue the service.
Based on that notice, I reasonably understood that there was no active valid payment method available for renewal unless I manually added one.
However, despite that, Perplexity was still able to process a charge through Stripe on April 7, 2026. This is exactly what I do not understand and why I am disputing this renewal. If the card had already been cancelled, and your own system had warned me that I needed to add a payment method, please explain how this charge was still successfully processed.
From my perspective, this was not a normal intended renewal. The payment appears to have gone through despite the fact that:
the original card had already been cancelled, and
I had previously been told that I needed to add a valid payment method.
Because of this contradiction, I respectfully request:
a manual review by a human support agent,
an explanation of how the charge was processed through Stripe,
and a full refund as a one-time exception.
If helpful, I can provide the screenshot of the email reminder that asked me to add a card to keep the trial.
Thank you. I would appreciate escalation of this case for further review.

The core issue is that the problem isn’t Stripe, it isn’t my phone carrier, and it isn’t my bank, the problem is Perplexity.

PERPLEXITY removed my Pro in less than one year.

Unless it was removed for a EULA/TOS violation, you should be able to start it again by adding a credit card to the account (this is required now for validating eligibility of promotion codes). That will let you use the full year, b/c in that case it is just 'paused' until a CC is added, if that's what you're worried about. Either way, you should have received an email explaining why. If you're having issues linking the credit card with the account, you'll likely need to contact the credit card company to figure out why it's not allowed to be added for an online subscription-based service.

They already asked for verification of my card at the time of subscription, then asked again two months later, I did it, and now they’ve simply removed it.

I contacted support and they confirmed the issue (at least according to the AI), and once again, I want to make it clear: the problem is not on my end.

"I've checked your account and found the issue. You redeemed the promotion on January 14, 2026, which should have given you 12 months of free Pro access. However, your subscription expired on April 14, 2026 - only 3 months later."

They themselves confirmed it, they terminated my subscription after 3 months.

I had a problem with the tools that I'm using. I have a max subscription so I should not be having practically any limit at all. For the past week there was practically no answer from my AI, gemini or Claude, or any other AI because there was a limit in the tools that they were using.
