Are you using a third-party model like gpt5.2 or claude? Those have a weekly limit but it's something like 300 not 10. Sonar will get counted as a pro query unless you select best which is unlimited.

If you are sharing an account with someone that that could get you flagged in strict limits added but as long as you follow the tools you shouldn't have that issue

Perplexity Pro was never advertised as offering unlimited access to third-party models. It did say that you can access the best models, but it did not promise unlimited of those models. They did however promise unlimited Pro searches which means that you can use sonar with those and it's a good model. It's not a gigantic frontier model, but it's still a good model. Have you tried being more specific with the support bot. It's pretty good at most things and will forward you to a human for anything else.

A lot of the promos are facing more limits and cancelations.

Maybe Perplexity has exceeded their philanthropic budget and wants to see some real customers now.

If you joined perplexity looking for subscription that gives you unlimited access to every large language model, you're in the wrong server and using the wrong service. Perplexity is a search engine that happens to use large language models. They are even so kind to give their customers access to large language models other than the ones they made, but they never promised to give you unlimited access to the most advanced AI models. They did promise to give you unlimited Pro searches using perplexy's own large language model. Furthermore, perplexity uses a different system prompt and they have their own context limit set. So using ChatGPT through perplexity is going to give you different results for the same query than using ChatGPT directly.

The amount of people joining This server to complain about a product not doing what they thought when not doing any research before signing up for a pro subscription is really annoying.

There are several bug reports for this. It appears to be happening universally on all pro accounts. The benefits page still says unlimited uploads. I regularly upload files for analysis and was hit with a hard limit this morning after attaching ~25 files. Pop-up occurs in all threads now so it is an account lock of some sort.
