I may be mistaken but I believe the maximum context length exceeds 32K tokens. Models can generate output without strict limits , continuing as long as their technical capabilities allow. I can personally confirm this for Gemini 2.5 Pro and Claude 4.0 Sonnet. I use gemini 2.5 Pro for 99% of my tasks, switching to claude only for specific cases, like UI development during coding

Is there a way to use models like Gemini/gpt-4.1/grok/claude/etc via the API? Every now and then I mess around with Perplexity but I’m not sure if there’s any point anymore. The quality is poor and it genuinely feels like a “super cheap” AI wrapper. The models here perform pretty badly overall, just take a look at Gemini 2.5 Pro in the Gemini app or Google AI Studio - it’s night and day compared to what’s here. The same goes for o3 and so on. Maybe for some people, perhaps even a lot of them, using multiple models is fine despite the quality being worse than it should be. The search function isn’t great either. I get much better results even in the Gemini app than here. Just sharing my observations.
