I think they are for different purposes the way I understand it, so my workflow is this - I start a new thread - normally in a specific trained space. I explore the subject I am wanting to wokr on lightly with the normal models - swapping between a few models until I explore everything in my head, then I use Deep Research to go and find out everything about the information uncovered in the discovery phase and start to pull it together into a formal specification style document. If I want an ened product like a slide deck or a web app or charts and graphs package etc - thats when I use LABS last of all to take all the info so far and producte the final output
