Never, because you basically dont upload, you connect google drive and select folders for sync, it constantly syncs with updated info, syncs means again something technical like vector database and semantic index, i dont know deeper, but it works in a different way, to tell in layman, it is trained on your data and just refers to it when you ask question.

perplexity supports mp4 files since a few weeks. while i have one video i could add without problems, i have another one causing a parsing error.
