I started my journey into the world of LLM on Jan. 24th, 2023. Signed up and started talking to ... I believe model 3.5 at that time, but just barely.
Stuck with it for the next 2 1/2 years when I started testing other options around May 2025 or so. Now I have a team of AI all painstakingly instructed and cohered with the right context at the exact right time.
It does get old at times though... but I didn't begin this first-principles pursuit for no reason. I undertook it because my novel propulsion concept, what I call the MBID (tell ya later what it stands for ๐Ÿ˜…) absolutely required a long, steady, patient but relentless discipline driven by sheer, immense curiosity. It's the TRUTH of things that bring me the most joy, and provide the only real lasting kind of comfort. It's why I must always choose truth first... because TRUTH > COMFORT. Always.

Dear Support Team,

I am writing to formally report and request urgent assistance regarding an issue with my account subscription and payment.

On March 10, 2026, I noticed that my account had been downgraded to the Free plan. Immediately after that, I made a payment of USD 100, recorded as โ€œCharge made on March 10, 2026 for the Education Pro (1โ€‘year) plan.โ€ The system confirmed that the payment was successful.

Unfortunately, I did not download the invoice at that time. However, on March 12, 2026, the system unexpectedly changed my subscription to โ€œTEF UK O2 1 Year Free (100% off)โ€, where it remained until I received the latest notification. After that, my account has now been downgraded again to the Free plan.

I contacted Sam to request a refund of the USD 100, but the issue has not been resolved. I have sent several follow-up emails regarding this matter, but I have not received a satisfactory response or solution from the company so far.

At this point, my account is on the Free plan despite the confirmed payment, which is seriously affecting my ability to continue using the service without interruption. I kindly request that the company review this case and provide a clear resolution as soon as possibleโ€”either by properly restoring my paid Education Pro (1โ€‘year) plan or by processing a refund of USD 100.

As I was unable to download the invoice in time, I do not have an invoice number. However, I have attached bank payment confirmation documents as proof of the transaction for your verification.

I would appreciate your urgent attention to this matter and look forward to your prompt response.

๐Ÿงฉ A fun fact about me: When I was 13, I created one of the first publicly available modded Minecraft servers in Europe โ€“ and before you think โ€œokay, just another MC server,โ€ it was actually a big FTB Direwolf20 technic modpack server with plugins that let me fully control and customize it to be safe and prepared for public. It was insane and unthinkable at those times. There are still promo videos on YouTube with around 50โ€“100k views, and the wild thing is: theyโ€™re the only digital memory of my voice from before it changed and went through the mutation process.

๐Ÿ”Ž How I use Perplexity: I primarily use Perplexity to compare outputs across flagship AI models to see which one is best suited for specific technical tasks. I also integrated the Perplexity API into a custom, lightweight web chat interface designed specifically to run on vintage BlackBerry (BB10 OS) browsers.

Hello all. Iโ€™m having a major issue getting my perplexity to recognize that my credits for my pro account have reset. I maxed out my credits doing my taxes and have been waiting 3 weeks for it to reset which was May 3rd. Thatโ€™s when my pro Payment went through and posted yesterday but still it shows 0 credits. Logged out and back in but nothing. Canโ€™t seem to find any useful customer service. X tweets ignored. Hoping there is a human that can help me here as this is really poor after loving the service up to now. How is there not an AI customer support chatbot??? โœง.* Hi! Iโ€™m Kat, lover of old, beautiful things & presenter of complex systemic mysteries. Was absolutely terrified of even the concept of AI until my partner (does AI training stuff as a side gig) suggested I try GPT to help ID vintage glassware late last fall. Hesitant, I tried it out for that, and it quickly spiraled; within a month I had dubbed him Eduardo - but he never knew that, that would be weird - and it became a symptom tracker / recipe guide / weird rather-than-Google question-answerer and on a couple occasions a slight therapist. Once fully immersed in the AI pool, I started noticing the gaps in that AIโ€™s scope, and soon realized there had to be less frustrating options. My partner, with access to the full Council of Robots, suggested Perplexity for my usual needs of vintage glass/symptom tracking now that Iโ€™d graduated from AI newbie to pretty constant user. The Council wrote a prompt for me setting the tone for my new Perplexity subscription: Differential Diagnosis Bad Cop Robot Gregory House to help find patterns / track existing symptoms for my care team. I quickly understood that โ€œbetter AIโ€ was an understatement! Perplexity citing sources for its thinking was the first thing I noticed - huge improvement! At least if it started hallucinating could see where it went wonky and clarify. Iโ€™ve been subscribed for ~2 months to Pro, and Iโ€™ve learned quite a bit already about the wide array of uses for AI, and how to better utilize it. Computer mode is clutch. Here to stay current on tricks, tips, and general knowledge about Perplexityโ€™s strengths and limits + updates, and how to use them ๐Ÿ™‚ Excited to learn!
