Hi @old zenith - I am gonna put this in a thread so it doesn't get lost in the noise from the other channel.

Okay so from what I understand You have been crashing shortly after entering the game.

So far you have tried several settings changes, reinstalling your driver, and the rest of the /minidump suggestions.

You have also installed the latest vulkan runtime installer.

And if I remember correctly from the stuff in there you are on a laptop and you had previously disabled your integrated GPU?

Hi sorry for the delay i'm trying the suggestion to force the nvidia drivers from auto to the 4090 at the moment. 🙂

Yes to all of the above. I've also tried several other options mentioned online as well prior to talking to yourselves.

yeah, sadly most of the videos are from the day the game was released and are essentially fixes from other games that never worked with Enshrouded - some of which actually cause issues. (Hence why I made one, but YT still doesn't like it better than the older ones.)

okay - so from what you are saying from earlier, your system isn't showing the iGPU in device manager at all, but it's showing up in your log?

Yeah I don't tend to trust youtube, mostly a steam thread from 5 days ago and some suggestions on reddit

Yup the iGPU doesn't show because the machine through the MSI centre is set to discreet

I tried hybrid mode and rather then crashing to desktop enshrouded does a BSOD

okay. Can you do me a favor and open up steam library and right click on enshrouded in the list and under general, where it says "Launch Options" can you type in --vulkan-device-index 0 and try to load the game?

It does seem to be trying to load the correct GPU, but I just want to be sure.

So, I'm cautiously hopeful, so far no crashes since loading 20 minutes ago, i've managed to run through flowers and entered the shroud, engaged in combat and it did not crash

What does the launch command do btw, does it turn off Vulkan?

Naw, it just tells vulkan to specifically load that GPU. Though windows could still decide to change that at any time. 🤣

Crashes are back was able to play for a couple of hours, but its back to crashing after a few minutes unfortunately. Latest log:
