And so if a resolution if found, you both have easy access to it.

I am noticing you have an integrated GPU - and it's possible that the symptoms you are seeing might be a result of your system trying to switch over to your integrated card to conserve power or a couple other reasons.
It's also one thing you and @pastel goblet have in common, the CPU with the integrated card.
Do you know how to disable your integrated GPU to see if that resolves your issue?

naw, you can disable it from Device manager
You usually don't have to go into the bios unless it's set up to run hybrid, in which case it can sometimes munch performance when you turn it off

oh, hadnt considered disabling that as i set enshrouded to "high performance" in system > display > graphics preference ... would that not bypass intergrated graphics? ... ill try disabling and let you know

It should, but windows can change it over for whatever reason. It's worth a shot, since your log just ends, it's the one thing you have in common.

after disabling intergrated graphics, I have managed to play for 2 whole hours without a crash! will play more before i say its "fixed" but 2 hours is about an hour more than I've managed in months, so its looking promising! 😄 (hopefully i haven't jinxed it) regardless, I really appreciate the assistance! thank you!!

i just crashed again... complete lockup and hard reset after 1 hour played ... same issue, managed a screenshot just before crash this time XD ... integrated graphics is disabled in device manager

What other things do we have in common? Overclocked CPU/GPU? A-XMP or EXPO profiles?

nope, none. (division 2, guild wars 2, darktide, NMS and Satisfactory are most recent but no issues even on max settings)

out of curiosity, did you put the game on the OS drive (C:?) or did you move it to an additional drive?

Always have Discord open, sometimes also some Chrome tabs

I moved my game to C: drive and had 1 Firefox window open and managed atleast 6 hours today, haven't tried with discord open but seems to be playable again! Thank you both!!

i moved game TO C: (primary) drive and have been able to play a ton since... but there were all the other steps i did also so might be a combo of things but as of now it does seem "fixed" or atleast stable enough to play again 😄
but no it was an SSD

hmm. It could be that there was some file corruption that steam doesn't check/stays on the drive through installs that was fixed by moving drives. Changing the drive a game is installed on can fix a lot of weird things. 🤣
