So where were we? You said you already tried to do the pinned comment stuff and the /minidump stuff right?
alright. So the log you posted didn't have a crash notification at the end, it just sorta stops. The settings you landed on should be fine, though I would probably turn your reflections down, or just put it on "max performance" preset then change up the voxel details and small foliage up one so it doesn't look too terrible.

This error occurs when I click play, it even loads for a few second and then gives this error.
can you do me a favor and go into your world difficulty settings and turn harsh weather off and see what that does?

okay, so the fault in the log suggests there is an issue with the driver itself. It may be one of those things where DDU might be necessary for a reinstall or a rollback.
Just to be sure though, you did download the latest patch from yesterday as well, right?
Did you already do it once?

hmm... yeah. I am not sure if that error is a clue or just something that "got weird" and resolved. It's still crashing in the same spot
I have little to go on, so lets see if a fresh reinstall of vulkan might help. head over to https://vulkan.lunarg.com/sdk/home and install the latest runtime installer for windwos, restart your computer after installing it and then try again

Looks like you two are having the exact same crash
DXDIAG Instructions:
- Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type dxdiag and press Enter.
- The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will open.
- Wait a few seconds for it to finish loading (watch the progress bar in the bottom-left corner).
- Click "Save All Information..." at the bottom.
- Choose a location to save the file (e.g. Desktop) and click Save.
- The log will be saved as a .txt file (usually called DxDiag.txt).
Hopefully this will help them track it down

I guess I'll check back later, but I will say when i did join other world to see the update visuals, its so gorgeous now, lighting/clouds etc. I just hope to see my world looking that nice ๐
We have released a new update with a number of bug fixes. Please update your game and check if your problem still occurs. If this is the case, please let us know.

It appears this issue is still ongoing.
Okay. I am sure they will look into this further. There were several issues with this update, they have solved a lot of them, but it usually takes a couple of passes to get to everything.
Okay, so does that mean I have to put the game aside until a possible resolution?
Is there any way I can officially get a version prior to the update, so I can continue playing until a hotfix comes out at some point?
I hate to say it, but I am out of ideas on this. You can check through my video and see if there was anything in there we may not have gone over. Thing like disabling overlays etc...
But yeah, unfortunately I am out of ideas.
Please note, while there are a lot of fixes in this video, it's not guaranteed that this video will fix every crashing issue, and just because this video doesn't fix an issue - it does not mean that the issue is necessarily a bug within the game. There are too many reasons why games crash to cover on one video, and too many possibilities to acco...
These are all very generic though. just the "most common issues" people have

Well, I'm going to try a clean format of my PC and reinstall everything again, to see if I can play, because since the 13th I haven't been able to play and I paid to play... I'm going to try this as a last attempt.
