Lava death happening almost instantly

@novel nacelle was experiencing this as well. it seems to be a set rate.

@atomic vessel can you look into if this was an intentional change for me? It seems unintentional.

Also want to note, I had just entered the shroud in that video and my timer was already partially down.

ah, I see. shroud timer ticks back up from 0 after death, hence the missing time.

well, it's the normal damage you get form being at 0:00 Shroud Timer. You sure it was slower before?

after talking, none of us are sure. Some say yes, some no. I remember it being slower, but I guess it may have been a different "lava?" I didn't know there were two. lol.

there's the fire lava and there's the shroud goo that VERY quickly drains your shroud timer

that looks like the latter for me

How do the two visually differentiate? Is the change log note re 'players now sink into deadly red shroud mud' somewhat pointless now that you die on contact?
