Hi @blazing cloud - could you explain in more detail what is happening? If this on a hosted game, server or solo game, is this you or someone else dying?

This is a hosted game, just two people, and this is my partner "dying".
It is repeating the message. It did it before with "nybid has been consumed by the shroud"

I am not the host, but was the Nybid in question. Context I died and the spammed messages began when I attempted to revive.
The issue first began with me dying in shroud mud after a rubberband from lag, my companion couldn't get me so I had to revive back at the tower. When I hit revive it played the anim as if my partner had revived me then immediate death before I had fully stood up and the first round of spammed messages hit. I sucessfully revived on the 4-5th attempt.
Ate some stuff, attempted to fly back, had some mild rubberbanding in flight, nothing unusual, then abruptly was dead midflight in an area where there was nothing to collide with, that triggered the death spam. I had 7-8 revive attempts where I stood partway up insitu as if revived by a companion and insta died, each spawning new rounds of mass death messages.
Finally revived back to tower and my lag got signifigantly worse so I quit to desktop to reboot and post my log/context of the issue. I did have the "naked character no inv" glitch earlier but had fixed it by jumping between a few different servers and characters.

Yeah, I had no visual except for the text box and couldn't get to them to see what was happening because I was in shround.

From what I can see, your system is having some serious issues trying to host the game. I did see you tried to lower the settings, but you may also want to try lowering your resolution to see if that helps a little.

Yeah, it started having the issue after the Halls update. Prior to that, it never gave the hosting messages.

yeah - a lot was added to that update and a great deal more in this one. The lower and cards are feeling it now, where they weren't so much before.

Absolutely. Amazing updates for sure, but definite stress on the cards. I am probably going to go true low settings after this ( 😭 ).
From my end, when my partner died, there wasn't a revive option but I could see the body. It was only after they respawned at the tower that the slew of "Nybid has been consumed by the shroud"x300 happened. After a bit, the death messages started.

If I had to guess, it probably got caught behind something that was stuck loading and maybe kept trying to push that message, their respawn cleared it and the game spammed you. lol.
