#Anyone ever had graphical issues on full

Hey there, what sort of graphical issues? Has this started happening after today's patch?
This has been going on for me ever since they did the anniversary update. I believe that was the one at least. Slight changes here and there with the patches, but original issue still remains, although they are minor. Would still like to see it fixed though.
Short, abrupt black flickers or color flashes randomly. Usually seems to be when I'm around flames or fighting. Got back on yesterday after about a 2 week break and witnessed a scavenger moving backwards, thought running towards me, and would keep getting pushed away as I moved towards it. Only happened the one time so far though.
I've not seen anything like that on a 5800x3D/ 7900XT.
Ping me later today and i'll record a video from 6900XT/5800X3D setup.
If I'd have to guess it's either bloom/HDR or some blur pass related flicker.
Is it something like that in terms of flares ? ^
And a black flare/screen flicker in another situation.
That's also with 1080p FSR3 native, so no upscaling (though it can still be caused by FSR AA pass)
It started with patch #5 or #6...
It is exactly what @terse obsidian posted !
I thought my gpu was dying from those black flickers 🥺
I'm on 6800/7900x3d setup no FSR, and mostly balanced video settings.
Anti-lag is enabled in adrenaline tho 🤷♂️
Just had that black screen flick without any AA pass, so not FSR related indeed.
Yeah, my issue is incredibly similar.
I'm just glad it's not my gpu 🥺
Nah, not your GPU, it's usually either some bug in the engine or a driver.
Saber has been tracking similar random flicker in Space Marine 2 on AMD cards, still to be fixed since AMD's pushing it onto them and they pushing it back 😂
Well that just makes it sound like it's never going to get fixed.
Gonna chime in and say I'm getting the exact same problem too! I'm on a 6700XT and 5800X3D and get this weird flickering. I've just updated my chipset AND GPU drivers (new GPU drivers came out yesterday, just as a heads up for anyone on AMD who finds this) and gonna see if that's fixed it.
Update: It did not. I'm lost as to what is causing this issue.
It started happening at the same time when shader compiling got messed up (didn't show a message that it was compiling until you joined the world and then it was compiling for quite some time)
I've been having the same issues since the January update. And every time I see it mentioned, they're using AMD GPU.
I did a full reinstall of my graphics drivers, to the most recent version. Updated Vulkan. Reset shaders and settings. Nothing helped. This is something only AMD or the game devs can fix. So the likelyhood of it ever getting fixed is very low.
They are doing an overhaul of graphics and shaders... So fingers crossed that it gets fixed in May update.
But yeh, it is just shader issue, and deffinetly game related, rather than AMD. It did after all happen after the game update, not after a driver update 🤷♂️
