Hi @gleaming ice, We seem to be on different schedules so I am going to put this in here so we can communicate a little easier and nothing gets lost.
I am going to put a summary of everything we have already talked about in here real quick and also catch myself up on the issue.
**Has been having crashing issues since they got the game last week. Anywhere from 1-30 minutes while in the game. **
- System Specs: Windows 10 Home, AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, 32Gigs RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
- Did minidump steps
- Rolled back to 551.76 and went an hour without crashing. System keeps updating driver
- Driver in log is 560.94 (Current is 566.36)
- Log shows playing in mulitplayer
- Log shows multiple settings changes some of which well above the capabilities of the card, and generic GPU crash message at the end.
- They tried running on Max Performance, and it did not help
- Had them run GPU-Z which shows some jittery performance and a slight peak in GPU load right before crash, but nothing alarming.
Okay - all that being said. Just to make sure, since it doesn't appear I asked - did you do all 4 steps of the minidump DM? Verify files, Run the enshrouded toolfix, rename the json and use DDU specifically to reinstall the latest version of your driver?
Hi Mana,
*They tried running on Max Performance, and it did not help
Just a bit of confusion but Max performance DID help, no crashing. Sorry, I may have said the wrong thing before. I did trying run one level up at just Performance and it did crash but not a Max performance. I am find running it like that, just thought you wanted to test the crashing more
Well your GPU isn't capable of much more than max performance. You can try adjusting the settings one by one to get the most out of it without crashing, but running your game on too high of settings is likely what is causing the issue.
@gleaming ice Checking to make sure you saw this andchecking to see if you are still having issues.
@upbeat mist yes, thanks I did see and everthing has been working well.
Great to hear it! 😄
