We seem to be on very different schedules, so I am gonna make a thread to keep everything together.
A recap - You are having the issue seen in the image
Thing tried so far:
- Graphics driver updated
- Only happening in Enshrouded
- Game files have been verified.
Could you please drag and drop this file and put it in here?
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Enshrouded\enshrouded.log
If you have extensions turned off, it will be just a text document (txt) named "enshrouded"
You are using reshade?
- Please turn reshade off and then open the game and see if the issue is fixed.
- If that doesn't work I am also seeing that you are using a virtual display. Please disable it, restart your system and then start the game to see if the issue is fixed.
I am also noticing quite a few [graphics] Failed to allocate download buffer memory. errors in your log, and while it shouldn't directly input your display of the game, it could indirectly cause issues or cause you problems in the future, or something running could indirectly be impacting it -
- Even before starting the game, your computer is using about 8.5gb of your 16gb of ram. Windows generally uses about 2-3gb so it appears you have quite a few other things running on your system. With your limited system resources, you should close as much of this as you feel comfortable doing to free up resources for the game. A lack of system memory can lead to the game crashing as well as many other performance issues.
- Check your display settings. The RTX 2060 should not have any settings set above balanced, and probably should be lowered to "performance" especially on lighting and shadow settings. anything above that could also cause crashing or other performance issues, especially with other software on your system potentially using some of it's processing and vram.
no i was after i tried the other stuff
Did you alter your settings, turn off reshade and give it another shot?
i turned off reshade before i sent the .log
are your display settings set to balanced, performance or max performance?
sorry that i didn`t reply i wanted to do it earlier ibut i forgot.
I figured out what the reason for the weird colours was. NVDIA App just automatically set a weird filter for the game.
I didn't even know NVidia App could do that. ๐คฃ Guess I need to look into this new app a bit more. lol
I am glad you figured it out though ๐
thanks for the help ๐
no problem! thanks for letting me know what it was! Where is the setting in NVIdia app, btw?
i dont know i turned it of with the alt+Z Shortcut
I'll have to look around then ๐
Happy Shrouding!
