Quest Issue - Cavern Curiosity

Hi @undone badge - I believe might be a bug within the game. Could you please attach a zip file of your save folder in here in case the devs need to look at it to find out what is going on?

SAVE FILE LOCATIONS:

For local save files:
..\Users\%username%\Saved Games\Enshrouded
For cloud save files:
..\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[YourSteamID]\1203620\remote
YourSteamID is your unique Steam ID number

still bugged after patch v.0.7.4.2 on 2/12/2024

And just to be sure - you went to the quest location and picked up the quest again after the update was applied?

yup! went to the chest location to loot the chest.
also went to the billboard at huckster square to read the note again, and tried to loot the chest again.
both times didnt complete the quest.

I had the same issue (quest would not complete). I searched the channels and found a plyer who replied to someone that asked about this problem.

That player said to open the chest, DON'T take the item, close the chest, then reopen and take the item.

It worked! It cleared my quest log.
Pretty happy, since that was the last bit I needed for a "complete" play-through.

Husband (who had the bug) confirms this does complete the quest.
