#Suggestions for the game
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Here is just a place for suggestions, it can be removed if needed, I just have alot of ideas and I'd love to have an organized spot where everyone can chime in and give their suggestions
So I would love Prefabs in building mode & Fly Mode only in building mode instead of just placing slabs down all the time

This is the place
A lot of things feel clunky in the game and it would be nice if gameplay mechanics were streamlined / polished. I've done more things accidently in this game than any other game. I think this game can be sold as a "better survival game", but having polished gameplay and player-friendly features is essential. Stuff like have a recommended level on journal entries / map icons. I will elaborate more below.
With all the cliffs in the game, climbing should be easier and your character shouldn't violently slide down inclines.
Pushing 1-8 should ONLY equip weapons and not activate them and raw meat should go into your bag, not hotbar. Or just add an option to disables items from going directly to your hotbar. The blocking, dodging and power attacks are way off in this game. If I push block or dodge BEFORE an enemy hits me, I should be blocking or dodging their attack. Enemies that lunge at you should die and do no damage if your weapon attack hits them mid-lunge and has enough damage to kill them. And why to bows randomly fire when you're not even left clicking?
The power attacks are really wonky and bugged. There should be a distinct button for power attacks. The power attacks don't even do extra damage anyways. The power attack button should trigger sneak attacks. Merciless attack should be reworked so that your first attack does extra damage. Power attacks should do more % damage compared to a regular attack. Holding E to perform a merciless attack feels so bad, is hard to trigger most of the time and multiple enemies are usually swarming you so it's usually not a good idea to try to do it.
Hover loot button that lets you transfer loot faster. While just accessing your bag, clicking hover loot on a item should bring it to or from your hotbar. Like in the game Rust. One button to transfer individual items makes things easier. You can't crouch or dodge roll while accessing your inventory, so mapping the hover loot button to either one of those would work.
Add a new craftsperson from the Scavenger faction that allows you to build a production place called a "scraper" that recycles items into raw materials. Rings, shields and armor can't be salvaged from your inventory and seems like a waste when you just have to delete them. They do have to be deleted when they become obsolete so your inventory space isn't cluttered.
If villagers can eventually be assigned to tasks, a "scavenging station" that has villagers go out looking for specific raw materials and items would be great.
A higher tier production place that lets you build items to automate inventory management and production would be nice as well. For example, one "drop box" distributes loot to all connected storage boxes. Production places could be connected to storage boxes so raw materials can go in and finished product goes out. As an example, two smelters could be producing copper and tin which feed into a smelter that makes bronze.
Animations should never lock down a character, any movement should immediately break an animation such as chopping wood, sitting in a chair, mining ore.
Add an audio setting to turn off the ambient animal sounds. Hearing a loud moaning sound every 10 seconds in the desert isn't very pleasant.
If I am in Build Mode, survivors should walk away. They shouldn't all crowd around and stand right in the middle of where I'm trying to improve their home.
Milk only have one use. I wish more uses like using all type of diferent milk to do chese tables. or
I love the new update, but there's a but coming. Please return back the lighting level as before. Maybe it's more correct physically, but torches and lamps are reddish and weak, so the player is forced to install A LOT of flames and lamps to improve illumination, otherwise the house is looking too dark and gloom. At the same time players report that the game can't support the lights if they are excessive.
The second suggestion is about collectibles, new ones. Could you make rare minerals and plants? Each biome would have own three rare plants and minerals, which are not to propagate or a resource/
In my opinion Enshrouded is already a great game but i do have a few suggestions that would likely be pretty easy to implement and would improve the "building a town" aspect of the game. Mainly we need more craftable set pieces. First, food. Kitchens would look much better with food stocks on their shelves (bowls of fruits/vegetables, etc). Taverns seem to be pretty popular among the community as well but feel empty without feast items in the banquet tables. Cooked whole boars/chickens(or enshrouded's version of these animals) as well as fruit bowls and things would really spice things up. Comfort furniture like couches/loveseats/fluffy comfy chairs to put around your hearth to make a cozy sitting area for fellowship or next to a bookshelf for reading would make a huge difference as well. Also would love to see more decoration variety. More wall banners, curtains, paintings, statues, etc. And last but not least, for the love of the Flame, working Gates! Fence gates, castle gates, gates gates gates please.
"Yo man, can I have a little room, I'm trying to build your house a porch"
I am not crazy about hidden puddles of lava. I am walking down a hill and step in a 3 inch lava pool and lose 5 minutes of Shroud time (or just die instantly), not great.
Could the facility to adjust the brightness (or gamma) level be added as it is very difficult for me as a visually-impaired player to do anything in darker areas even with a torch.
I would love to see some perks that compliment fighting unarmed, so as to make the gloom monarch armour more appealing. Maybe some perks in the athlete section to fill it out more.
Martial Artist: unarmed attacks are considered blunt melee weapons (potentially triggering "melee weapon" perks). Your unarmed combo increases to a 4 hit chain.
Athlete: +2 Strength
+2 Constitution
+5 Health Regen
+5% attack speed
+5% sprinting speed
+5 health regen sounds borderline OP tbh.
Stamina regen maybe, but not health. With the latest boots it'd rival the water aura.
it was just an example, the intent was to have something similar to the "ranger" perk that focuses on dex and endurance, but for athlete that focuses on strength and constitution.
I mean... It's still not the right place for suggestions. The best chances are to suggest at feature upvote (which I earlier posted in this thread), this thread isn't even seen by CMs yet
