you just need to complete it once more and the quest should progress normally

well... i`m entering the hollow halls. and nothing happened. as it was written in quest task.

also the same issue with the Fenrig soul... I need to speak with him to complete the quest step... but nothing happens too

Ectoplasm quest is resolved after redoing the Revelwood Hollow Halls post patch (606779).

Fenrig (re)summoned and (re)spoken to, but the 'Bring Back The Pure Souls' quest is not completing
