If that is the case, could you give me your Enshrouded.log file? It's a .txt file located on the Steam folder for Enshrouded. Only send it after you have a session where this happens, please.

Here is my save. First i used two big particle entities that drop down fps (i would say that's normal) but you will quicly see how worth it gets when entering NPC menu. I got 4090, and fps drop to about 20-30 fps

Hey, I'm also experiencing this on my dedicated server hosted through Low.ms but not on my local save. I have a pretty good hardware package on the server. It wasn't happening to me initially, but my wife said it was happening to her, then it started happening to me last night. We have slightly different PC builds, mine is good enough to play most games on highest graphic settings with good FPS.
To add to the symptoms: This occurs when interacting with a crafting NPCs crafting screen. FPS is fine beforehand, but drops lower than 10 fps and persists even after closing the menu.
There is a workaround, which is to interact with a crafting station, and it immediately fixes the FPS drop.
Another thing I noticed is that the crafting menu is doing some kind of "is this craftable" check wave, because I can see a wave of red Xs highlight on each item going from top to bottom. If I had to guess, I'd say whatever is happening there is what's causing the issue. I'll try to get a GIF
