Hey there, it seems to happen to a few people and we're trying to find reproduction steps.

Does it happen all the time? As in, if you reload your world and go back to it, does the boss not spawn again?

Tried to re-open the game, still cannot find the boss in the room.

You can find the save file here then:
...\Steam\userdata\<YourUserID>\1203620\remote

There should be several files, which includes some called "characters" and others called something like "3ad85aea", maybe more.

You can make a copy of the "Remote" folder, put it in a zip file and send it here.

I cannot guarantee you a quick workaround for this, unfortunately. It might be a problem ingrained with the game for now that only affects a few users.

I suppose an alternative would be finding someone who has completed the quest/didn't have this issue, join their world and complete it there, but I can understand if this is not always applicable.

In which case, I ask you for some patience as we fix this issue.

Hello Derrick, I found out the issue.
You likely have an Altar of the Flame near the boss area. Could you please relocate it far away from the Sun Temple and try again?

You may need to restart the world or wait 30 minutes for the area to reset.
