I'm building a village in an island-like area connected by three bridges.
About half of the process is underway

Other question that has a lot to do with style and taste: I notice a lot of forest dwellers (for me, my opinion mind you) go too heavy on the extra plants and stuff. Triggers my dislike of clutter. Do you not feel your village having all these plants (potted and wild) and so much texturing with protruding small slanty eaves, and such feels: 1.) just right, 2.) too much, 3.) more texture and plants! 😄

Could by why I went with a desert base... clean corners, sleek, minimalistic 😛

I am a gamer who focuses solely on building, sharing methods of house construction, and I inevitably use it to save time

It is very much a time saver... I have elected so far to not use it yet in this game, haha. I have had to get creative, but at least you can free float platforms in this game. Can make my own scaffolding 😄

I hope you do not take my question as an insult or disapproval. In woody and nature heavy areas I tend to be super controlled and sparce with the vegetation and such.

It's true that I resorted to using a lot of pots due to the limited decorative elements available in the game currently. I think things might change once more variety is introduced in future updates. If the game provides more decorating options, it will allow for more freedom in expressing creativity.

I understand that it might feel excessive depending on one's perspective. Thank you for your opinion

Since it is not a finished build yet, I plan to make revisions
For things like trees, please note that I plant them first and, when they fully grow, I remove any parts that interfere with the building or feel excessive.😊

Your pics look fantastic and can tell a lot of time has gone into the project. Was just curious, even more so now you have outted yourself as a builder, how strong is the gravity to go: more plants, more detail, more texture! Gives it to me!

It is another house in the village that is currently under construction.

This is the village as it has progressed so far. It seems to be a little more than half complete.
