Hey there. What "red shroud" exactly are we talking? The "Deadly shroud" or the "sea of red" that also depletes your gauge?

I accidentally landed in the deadly shroud and I was killed within a few quick seconds. After that the 'E' to respawn appears. Pressing 'E' doesn't do anything, pressing ESC doesn't do anything - basically I have to close the game from task manager because I can't respawn or even exit to menu

Can you still move the camera?
Have you just pressed E or have you held E down for a few seconds?

Just to help clarify, this sort of thing does not happen if you keep away from the red goo, right?

^^ This happens to my friend any time he dies anywhere, it seems to be linked to him using a controller? I will get him to grab his log next time
