Please send logs and investigation here. I need a log before you do anything. Mick-aelgar, I have one for you. Supply any information you have when you attach your log please.
Roger that.
I am trying to see if there is something in the logs that can point us to what is going on.
I’ll send one in the morning.
ok, I'm going to destroy my flame altar and move it so that tree with the honey isn't within the boundary of my base
Also, if you crash submit both files related to the crash. Located in the crash_dump folder. There will be two files in each folder. One a txt document and one not. Supply both if you could.
Sucks cause the tree is right next to the inn I renovated RIP. I did notice the crash happens thee most when I fast travel back to that alter.
I just crashed at the tree trying to see if I could pick up the honey and wax... here are the two crash documents
[I 00:01:19,367] Added a 'StaticTransformDynamic' Component that was already there
This is kind of what I'm chasing right now.
World saves are also helpful
have u figured anything out by chance?
I mean, you are going to have to remove the honey > reload >remove honey > reload. This is a new issue and we aren't really sure of the best way to deal with it.
the honey is like infinite lol. And its under my base.
I know of no other way, I am open to opinions
hoiinestly at some point ill just have to deconstruct the base and move somewhere else. Probably the only thing i can do at this point.
Moving the alter and reloading would be another option possibly. Like I said this is a new issue we have come across
i was going to give that a try as well and hope for the best.
As long as it is outside the perimeter of the base it should remove on load I would think. You may be able to save parts of your base.
The tree is right next to the house so that wont work i dont think :/
ill try making a new alter and see if that helps at all.
🤔I wonder if you destroyed your alter cutdown the tree then rebuilt your alter
i already cut down the tree cause it was in the way lol
Ok, and you relogged and the tree was gone?
yeah
Ok, then just leave the area and it should respawn after 30 minutes
id have to remove my alter though no?
i cut it down a while ago and it hasnt come back
but there is now honey that spwans where it used to be
So this is how it works. It seems that everything inside the alter area stays and everything thing outside the alter resets every 30 minutes
yeah from my understanding correft
The problem is seems is some objects may be considered inside or outside this area maybe I am not sure how depth affects objects and perimeter
yeah i am not sure either but then again i am also not tech savvy at all!
I mean, the tree is no longer there, correct......are you still crashing?
yes correct
Quit game and reload a few times to see if the tree comes back, drop me a new log NOT from the crash folder after playing around your base for like 10 minutes. Then, if you crash again for some reason come back.
i moved my flame alter so well see if that does anything
Ok
yeah that didnt do anything moving the alter, im just gonna find a new spot and create a new base altogether.
Log?
👍ty
np thank you for taking the time.
I’ll try some stuff myself this evening… I’m east coast US so it won’t be till after work.
Ok, it would be really helpful if you would drop your world files here so that I can take a look myself and experiment with what's going on.
Where is that located?
It can be in 2 separate locations. Follow the top one if steam cloud is enabled. If you don't use the bottom
Save file location:
-
Steam Cloud: "...\Steam\userdata\ {UserID}\1203620\remote"
-
Non-Cloud: "C:\Users\ {User}\Saved Games\Enshrouded"
Looking for files named

So, I changed my flame altar from level 4 to level 2 and those honey trees that were around my base all respawned with the beehives in them. So far (knock on wood) I haven't had a minidump error in over an hour while moving around my base and building some
I am going to play some more like this and then reintroduce a few other things that I removed
- the crops
- the improved water well
- the beehives that you can build
I'll let you know how it goes
Ok, drop a log every now and then with a description if you wouldn't mind. Mainly on major changes
will do... thanks for all your help thus far
No, thank you for taking the time with helping us by supplying information to help others.
