Changing Vsync (disable->enable->disable if using Gsync monitor or enable->disable->re-enable) settings resolves stuttering. Have to do to it on every startup.

So, I'd like to say this. @amber peak Check this out.

I ran vulkan runtime on my PC to see which version I'm using being I have no issues, and to my surprise not even the latest. I'm using last years during the demo that I had to update to, to get the demo to work.

So, while the modern vulkan might work for some people, I don't have the exact version I had to download still on my pc (install file wise) But I do have another version from November, This version actually got a guys game running 35 minutes vs his usual instant crash within 2-3 minutes time.

So, For SOME People. Try this version, And no worries, It's safe, I'm a lil tech dweeb and just trying to help. The only way to obtain the older versions another way is to use the SDK software and donwload it through their library.

But this version since it did help one, might do justice to another now.

Disabling hyperthreading fixed my Vulkan device lost crash on my 1080 ti. I was reading up on vulkan and apparently it very much dislikes multithreading, causes it trip over itself and dump the GPU ๐Ÿคท

Ryzen master or pclasso

That's on them though. They don't want to do something that would fix the issue because of a minor inconvenience that's fine. Up to them, just keep crashing if that's the issue. Lead a horse to water and all.

I would recommend the smt/hyperthreading to people getting.

If you have an AMD processor, you could download ryzen master and disable it there called SMT or through your system bios if you have Intel and it's called. Hyperthreading.

While this is a work around for people with older CPU's and possibly w11 users, It's not something I'd assume would do much. Ryzen 7900x here, and the game is having no issues. The ones who posted that fix was actually what got their game going, they mostly had 7700, 8700, 9700k's and FX cpu's. OR they're on intels latest and w11 is a problem with scheduling still for some. (if they haven't updated) which is typically a thing for a lot of people.

I did find the issue to server saves for some NOT on dedicated and using peer 2 peer hosting in the game with a server set up that way.

I was messing around out of boredom, Turned off the game's core usage from all 12 and 24 thread to 2 cores 0 thread. With players in the server with me, it lagged out for both of us, it would hold up FPS on both ends but horribly, server fps IS a thing in this game. So the other players did lose FPS too, what happened was interesting, The save's didn't work properly for progression and some storage. GASP! lol

So, with messing around there, Goes to show if the performance isn't up to par, its not going to save and progress properly.

Keep an eye out for the following Overlays to help improve Performance:

  • SteelSeries Overlay
  • GeForce Experience

It seems that a majority of people who have never had an issue or crash have reported it began with this recent hot fix, have been able to revert their Nvidia driver to 546.33 and their game no longer is crashing.
