crashes after that
If you are on proxmox for the CPU just put Host and no default at type
It's ok for me server start
I am using proxmox. what do you mean put Host and no default?
Under the VM -> Hardware -> Processors. Set the type to host
I believe it defaults to kvm64
Mine is x86-64-v2-AES.
changing to host resolved the crash for you?
This resolved it for me, self hosted on Proxmox server, windows 10 VM using SteamCMD to install
Windows 11 didn't like that.. wouldn't boot. Probably that secure boot crap they force
Probably need to install another Win10 machine 😕
I set my windows 11 iso to remove the secure boot stuff
Any equivalent for vmware?
Alright, boys. I created a new VM in Proxmox (Win10 using HOST as CPU type, installed using SteamCMD) and seems to be working!
just a question what is the host proc spec of your proxmox ?
i have intel xeon and it doesn't work
Intel 6700k
ho okay
I did my server using an Xeon processor
