the cougar will like you, but as soon as your back is turned, they will probably jump on you and eat you.

and if i want recommended videos i just scroll shorts for 2 minutes and then reclick to go back to main youtube page and the videos load after that - because it seems like they added features to discourage people from not logging in. they want to see your video history and other crap.

i think trusting others encourages good in others. for example an ex-con who did their time and is trying to re-integrate into the world.. in order to get a job someone has to trust them. maybe that lawyer or therapist who helped them in prison might trust them enough to invite them to their house and meet their family. - of course there is the chance the ex con didn't change but if they did make amends... and no one gave them a chance at a job or felt safe around them, it would be a pretty hard life, it might even result in people who get out of prison more easily falling back into a cycle of crime... but at the same time 'dealing with evil through strength'... so maybe you take martial arts or have strength in other ways to deal with bad things as they come, but not expect bad things from everyone and the world... so in a sense trusting others is good for your own well being as well, because having that more positive outlook has it's benefits and opens doors etc.

@minor swallow yeah i was trying to say basically it's not unrealistic that a dragon could fly, because our knowledge of flight isn't complete, basically i wouldn't write off dragons flying as completely impossible, because assuming that would imply we're masters of everything, that we know everything about how everything works. in so far as it's impossible it's because dragons don't exist, (as far as we know) and that's the fantasy aspect of it.

Even just proclaiming spacex as having utmost knowledge about flight seems a bit much, because at least some of what they are doing is trial and error... a lot of their rockets exploded, and ultimately their designs are based on the knowledge and ingenuity of giants who came before them.

And the whole point of this was to say that realism exists in fantasy games... it's just different levels of realism, compared to a game that is trying to be completely realistic. Take the book 20,000 leagues under the sea, it was written in 1870. No such submarine like the Nautilus existed in 1870, the whole book was a fantasy of the type called science fiction, the Nautilus is a fantasy, we barely have submarines today that can travel that deep in the ocean, and yet that book was realistic in a lot of other ways, depicting real things you find in the ocean, and whatever was still fantasy back then is even less fantasy today.

when we discover dragons on another planet, i will be vindicated.

They can, but it's different than in humans, generally much less serious. They also have a vaccine for it that's highly effective and I recommend giving to your dogs. Generally speaking though Lyme in dogs will go away without too much complications just from a simple anti-biotic treatment.

If you live in an area that frequently gets ticks I highly recommend getting a tick removal tool, they are extremely convinient for both pets and humans. They look like this

The only concern when removing a tick is potentially ripping off and leaving behind the head, their jaws clamp down extremely hard, hard enough that their head can come off before their mouth lets go if you don't remove them right. It can potentially lead to minor infections. These tools make it a lot easier to get a good grip on them, and you can just twist and pull to remove em easily.

Also prescription flea and tick treatments that you get from your vet like nexgard, seresto, simparica trio, etc are all extremely effective and I highly highly highly recommend them if you can afford their cost. It makes dog ownership a lot less stressful when you don't have to be paranoid about fleas and ticks all the time.

Removing it isn't too difficult, it can definitely be more of a problem around the eyes because you can't use most stuff that will get the tick to detach on its own because of the chances of it getting in the eyes.
1 very important thing is to get the dog tested for Lyme disease because the longer it's been on the greater the chances are it'll transmit the pathogens that cause it. It may need to be put on a month long duration of high dosages of doxycycline, that's what I had to do with my dog. I have to warn you that does tend to cause digestive problems with some dogs.

Eh generally speaking that wouldn't do a whole lot, Lyme mostly comes during the transfer of blood while it's suckin on ya. It's not really the wound itself. So the best thing is to just remember where you were bit and check on it periodically for the next couple weeks, if you see signs of rash/irritation/swelling, immediately get an anti-biotic.

Catching lyme doesn't automatically cause serious issues, it's when it goes untreated for too long. Anti-biotics early on and you'll be fine, assuming your immune system isn't compromised.

Also generally if it was not on you for more than 24 hours, you're probably fine.

Pollution can be from hundreds of miles away. For example about 30% of the smog/air Pollution that is on the west coast of the USA is actually from China. Imagine how bad Japan gets hit with pollution from them.

My college actually had geothermal, and it was soooo dope honestly. Having comfortable temperatures year round without like, ever actually having to run A/C, was a really bizzare experience
