Can anyone help me with this?

I'm up by pillars of creation. I noticed just before this that I couldn't interact with the flame altar, and some nearby Furbolgs were bugging out and my arrows were going straight through them

Ive had that happen on my dedicated server where some parts of the world wouldnt load in correctly with collision etc. A couple of restarts of both server and client fixed that iirc.
Not sure if thats the same issue here

You have fallen through and are outside the boundaries of the map. Fast travel if possible, otherwise exit to the main menu and rejoin.

I've tried rejoining. I don't own the dedicated server so not sure if I can restart it

And can't fast travel, it teleports me back before I get the chance

Is there a way to change where I load in?

I haven't see that behavior then. If quitting to the main menu doesn't start you back at the most recent flame altar it's not acting normally. Can you open the map and try that option at the bottom to fast travel to the last altar visited?

If you switch to a new character you should start at the beginning. Then if you switch back you might start where you left off. Not sure tho

I see the altar in your video. If you just now placed it can you still open the altar menu? If so deactivate it. Then you may be able to get back to a different location.

I've tried going in as another character, but it's not letting me interact with the altar...

Is there a way to remove altars from a distance

Or set a new spawn point?

You have moved beyond my ability to assist. I know there is a way to backup and restore worlds but am unfamiliar with the process. It may be possible to load a recent backup? Not sure if it is backing up automatically though.

If thats running on a server you got no backups to restore other than character files

i beleive i figured out in part whats going on, there are 2 icons, the hollow hall with the ? one over top of it, doesnt tie to a quest, but says Collections: Hollow, which i am not finding as a listing in the journal, the ? icon is just overwriting the hall one. doesnt explain why i cant progress the hidden crafting recipes, its 2/3 complete

It actually does, unless you did it. The hidden crafting recipes is the quest in the journal. So if you still see 2/3 id suggest you get in there and get the hidden building furniture and the artifacts. Im not sure which is tied to the quest but when I did this the "?" Disappeared

ok, so 2/3 suggests im 2 down, or is it im on the 2nd, also only the kindle waste and revelwood have the ?, nomad hilands is clear

2/3 suggests you have done everything you need in 2 out of 3 halls. Add you still see 2 "?". I cannot explain that. Although yesterday I also had for some building blocks that I had 2 "?" On the map, when I grabbed one the other dissappeared.

will do, i just went thru revelwood just a bit ago, and didn't see anything, so i thought it might have been already cleared, these hollow halls are a slog, even at max level if just considering time expenditure.

I agree, the last one took me quite some time to clear solo. I don't like watching videos beforehand so I'm looking around for ages. At the end I have to watch videos to find all artifacts because they are in hidden rooms behind a corner far away where you get once you go through a hidden wall.. Very hard to find but I just cannot live with "?" On my map
