i have a question, i am deciding right now if i wanna buy the game from what i have seen i like it very much and i miss the feeling of loosing time while building my concern is this, i have an older laptop i7 8... 1050ti gtx 16 gb of rams do you guys think the game is gonna work good at minimum graphic?

i know the minimum recuired is 6 gb of vram this 1050 has only 4

last night I didn't sleep well. I kept hearing this intermittnet sound which I was thining..oh god, it's the water pipes, oh god it's the hvac...etc etc.

turne dout my husband had lft the power washer ...plugged in all night and it maintains some sort of air pressure

so every 15 minutes or so it was turning on to power that air pressure

It depends on how much you're willing to settle when it comes to performance, to be honest. You can probably get the game to run, but it might be a frustrating experience that doesn't run well. We set the requirement to 6gb for a reason, the game feels quite bad and can run into significant issues with less than that.

Optimization is our biggest priority going forward until the 1.0 launch in Autumn, so it will probably noticeably improve by then, though I can't say what the requirements will be, we're too far away to know.

On my original solo world, I built a little dormitory for all the nonessential NPCs, with lots of enrichment (decorations) to satisfy them. But my base was messy and disorganized and not secured from the wolves, and I couldn't risk the NPCs leaving the doors open to my chicken/rabbit coops and letting the damn chickens and rabbits out to be eaten by the wolves. So I gave the dormitory a small courtyard and fenced the courtyard up so the NPCs could wander their home, but not leave and start opening doors. It worked at the time, but something about the Wake of the Waters update broke it (perhaps when they changed the fence models and item codes), so now they wander freely and leave no door unopened. Thankfully I've since moved to a newer, better base.

On that old solo world, I did, in fact, make sure I left my home's door closed so the pets wouldn't get out and wander off! Tovi isn't the only one! There are dozens of us, I swear!

I had an issue earlier that would not let me place the flame alter, and was not red. It was just enemies hiding somewhere. Or if I was on the game for too long it did that and relogging helps.

It's a technical term for the character your controlling.

From a UE perspective the Character object is the pawn.. Then there's a player controller, components, etc. So the pawn usually involves locomotion.. traversal.

Example of "pawn" would be a game where you can take control of multiple distinct characters but they all have the same controls (inputs). That's because all use the same controller but different pawns.

It's just a standard term if you use UE.

A model typically is a struct that represents a data structure.

As in a data model. Eg. state data.

... In the case of UE "Pawn" is the actual name of the class. LOL. So it also makes sense to call it that.

.. OR Character. Both are often used. And both can be used seperately depending on the arch of your game.

I could have gone down the street and mcdonalds would have given me a job for a higher starting wage. Yeah taxes are weird in general in texas, I used to live there. They pretend that taxes are low because they "don't have income tax", but then have insane tax rates everywhere else. Which ironically makes things way more expensive there for middle/low class families than if they just had normal income taxes, but I won't get into that.

I don't disagree with either of you, I love learning. I just never felt like I learned anything in school honestly. I developed a passion for science by watching scientific youtube channels like veritasium and scishow lol. And the difference in how much I learned from those kind of things was really staggering for me.

Like, highschool science classes didn't instill me with wonder, because they cared more about testing us on as much stuff as possible than actually teaching us anything. No equip, nothing in bag.

Only my lvl and character progress.

alot of the mechanics feel pretty useless and because of that it makes a few skills nearly mandatory

so yea i tweaked the setting in hope that it will help balance and buff certain functions

Double Jump & Updraft are the only REQUIRED skills...

its basicaly impossible, u just cant get HP regen high enough

and what it says u get is quite misleading

that 45hp u can push it up too like 110 with gear.. but thats per 2 secs

so its still effectively 50hp a sec

by end game thats pretty trivial in an actual battle

but thats wat im attempting to try and fix with my custom settings!

make more options viable, is my goal. make builds feel more impactful

with enemys set to more

or at least thats how ive started

unfortunately most enemies hit like wet noodles with most atks then do insane dmg with like 1 or 2 specific moves

so i cant tweak the dmg much higher or itd truly jus be 1-shots

usually its just their lung atks if they hit it from behind

yuhh and u cant lure away enemies from packs very well either

cause theres like a 50/50 chance they roar and summon everyone anyways lol

so now i got 3 or 4 charging me which is a lovely experience xD

They are currently working on a whole lot of changes to combat. Not to mention the game is still in early access. Based on everything I've seen so far I'm SUPREMELY confident Keen will be making changes we all wind up enjoying.

unfortunately, I blame Elden Ring for the recent change in years

from endgame being challenging ur build skills to dont get hit-athons

elden Ring and Dark Souls i mean

So I finally put my finger on what bugs me about enshrouded so much
While so many aspects of the game are top tier its combat is just so bland and one dimensional. Visually and the way the controls feel remind me so much of Immortal Phoenix Rising, but with godawful combat
