I made a little underground longhouse for my hunter and I'm really happy with it. I've been trying to make the villager homes according to my mental theme and I felt like she wouldn't have doors/walls unless they were dirt. there plenty of space open to nature but she has a roof overhead and a stone hearth to keep warm. plus the camp bed to stay on theme

hi everyone. how can i respawn the first matron? i killed her beside a grappling point and could not loot her, the "e" was always at the grappling point. i tried reloading but the corpse is gone and tried to quit and reload a few times but camp is always complet empty when i reach it

I’d work on base farm other resources do other quests. Then go back. You can’t stay in that area either. But should respawn within 30 mins.

I have heard of some people reporting places not regening. I've not seen anyone come back and say 'oh it resolved after thus and so time. But, really. the first tricks are not going anywhere near it for a minimum of 30 minutes. Rebooting the game and lastly sobbing

I find sobbing very unhelpful but very cathartic

and of course file a bug report because they made some changes with the last update to respawning and it oculd be borked

could might have been able to destroy or dismantle the grapple point not sure depends. I know I build a new base by taking over a fishing camp and it had grapples and chain fences and such and since I had a flame there it let me dismantle both these items.

Or not sure if you can destroy the with a pick axe without the flame as never tried destroying them

Actually no, mage is very difficult at lower level. Normally I recommend people wait until about 20 as a sword and board then start spec'ing over to magey skills

but even tier 1's are great as can save time collection materials. Now the Dragon that's a different beast you'll need 1000 or more high level arrows and if solo I would suggest more and poison is a plus

nothing wrong with using the terrain to your benefit. I was doing kindlewastes hollow halls yesterday and the first cyclops I hung out on an upper ledge sniping him and the final fight against 2 and their minions I dug my way up to a small area where I dug in a small shelf for me to snipe from.

Daggers 80% of the time, bow and arrow (highest piercing damage) 15% of the time, grenades 4% of the time, 1% Eternal Arrows to pop explosives/ping activators for gates.

They are meant for a group; tons of mobs at once. If you try to solo allI can say is cheese them and use blunt damage whenever possible, it works best on skellies.

it's good to sink points in around the tree not just one branch though you can focus alot in branches you prefer but I found when I started sinking points into melee fighting it did help alot when I had to ground fight even against some higher enemies and bosses though I still prefer to sit back and laugh at them as they die HA HA

I recently created a farm on a outcroping and installed water to flow through it and directed it into looking like a natural waterfall which in turn would flow into a pool at the bottom with drains on the walls to keep the water from overflowing. The main tricky part is learning how to fly with the ghost glider down the really long cavern in the 4th hollow halls. Some find it a bit easier with the extraordinary glider because it doesn't fly quite as fast as the ghost glider.

The original post was vague, so I might have been misinterpreting it, but the way I interpreted it was that they were asking to be able to rotate blocks off the grid. I.E, be able to rotate blocks in more than 90 degree increments, like rotate a block to be at a 45 degree angle from the grid.

The entire game is built on an invisible square grid. You can think of it the same way minecraft works, nobody in that game would ask "why can't we rotate blocks at 45 degree angles?" because then it would be off the grid entirely and kinda just... break everything.

Same is true in Enshrouded, block placement and terrain modification are all built onto this grid, so you physically can't really go off the grid to build at, say, a 10 degree slightly different angle. That's why I marked it as "not planned"

It's not possible to do with voxels, no. At least not without creating a fundamentally different system. For props you can rotate those at any angle you want, because they aren't part of the voxel grid. That's how valheim's building system works, all of its building parts are just props

What we could technically do is create blocks of different shapes, so that you could create different angled walls while still adhering to the grid. Games like From the Depths or Avorion do this, off the top of my head. This would achieve the same effect for the most part without having to totally break the grid. Yeah from the depths goes almost overboard with how many slope angles they have lol

But it's a bit more complicated in Enshrouded because, if you're noticed, our voxel textures aren't static. Blocks will automatically try to blend together to create seamless textures to look like they're actually part of the world, and not just individual cubes.

That adds significantly more complexity when it comes to implementing more types of block shapes.

Hollowed Halls are needed for: The Collector Quests, Ectoplasm Press and Artifacts quests. Sure, you can circumvent all the non-core quests, but you don't get the Collector, his companion or anything you can make out of the press which also has implications for Albaneve Summits like being unable to craft ice resistance potions or quests like carved pumpkins (need some kind of ectoplasm). So in a way, they are necessary and not "totally optional" because of Albaneve Summits. I gave up when I got to all the Revelwood runes and collecting them again... such a headache.

you can have the old stam regen back but you would need to make an active effort to itemize for it and also have top tier food for your biome

I have a silly question

I am thinking of getting back into enshrouded, I havent played in quite some time since release. When I was playing, anything I leveled up in, my friends would also level up even if they were not on. Has this changed?

For instance, if I leveled up and could now wield a sword, it would also unlock for my friends.

Gosh, sorry, I don't remember it at the top of my head. But it's not in-game time-repelnishment, it's real-time

I may be wrong, but for a chest to replenish again, you'd need to leave the area for half an hour in time out of the game

Hosted server keeps crashing for some reason. I got the files to run them locally and the game crashes.
