Got it it was the one right underneath DREAM in Dragon Dream Lake I had place a flame there when I got to this area and it was sort of overlapping so never saw it until I was looking at your screen shots but that was the one I was missing so only a matter of time now just need 40 & 45 to complete the achievements!

I read through the rules before posting and my understanding was that a single link to the official FeatureUpvote page, in the right channel, about an in-game feature (FSR 3.1+/4) counts as on-topic discussion rather than advertising. Its not as interesting for subsequent playthroughs, but is much more engaging during that playthrough because of the designer POIs and lore and stuff.

I really do love Enshrouded's world, but I do hope at some point they add the option to randomly generate a world. Especially cause the "Flame Altar/Base Claim" but for minecraft could be really interesting. Not having to make a new world in minecraft every update cause... in Enshrouded, it re-generates the world/map every time you load, only keeping the stuff in your flame altars. that lends itself perfect to a survival craft cause then you get the new content without having to restart.

Keep in mind that building a world in this way is fundamentally different than how we built our world. If Enshrouded used procedural generation to make its worlds, it would look absolutely nothing like what you see now. It would be a lot more simple, repetitive, and lacking complexity, because that's the nature of using random generation rather than hand crafting a world.

We might add elements of procedural generation to the game eventually, maybe randomly generated dungeons or something, but I honestly think it's unlikely that we'd create entirely procedurally generated worlds. It would be like building a new game entirely.

A good example is actually looking at a game like Starfield and comparing it to the other games bathesda has made, given that that's their first game with procedurally generated worlds. A huge complaint for that game, and part of why it has mixed reviews, is that despite having hundreds of worlds, they feel barren and devoid of content, whereas bathesda games have historically been praised for their incredibly detailed and diverse worlds that are full of interesting places and lore to explore.

I fully understand that. and that is why I think it should be a separate mode from "Story mode." The current world with all its lore and progression is great. I have 3000 hours in this game, I love it.
a randomly generated world is something that I would expect to be a lot less involved, no lore notes, all crafting recipes available at the start, the goal for this is just.. mostly empty but randomly generated world that we get to fill out. I honestly don't need any props or villages or anything in it.
"Story Mode" is what we have now and should be the main selling point of the game.
"Random World" should be upfront told as "no this isn't the main game, this is what you play after the main game if you just like random worlds"

The only issue I have with NMS now is that their POIs become very repetitive very quickly. Proc gen is great for the intervening world to move through, but it doesn't make very interesting spots within that world usually.

So i jumped onto an island surrounded by "lava" / red shroud liquid. Only to find out there is literally no way off the island, i dont have the skills yet to glide with updraft, so i basically miss 5 meters to freedom. I died 15 times trying to get of the island and it has already ruined my complete sense of progression and accomplishment. I also found i cannot take a scaffolding to this little isle and get some more range to glide away, because its 100% covered in shroud. This is really frustrating and dumb. Edit: Ideas anyone ?

You'd be running into the problem of making your CPU doing additional work to put the game together as it would need to traverse other folders than the already established ones by the developer into one package
